In this episode of Adventures with Purpose, we travel to LeBenite Park, Missouri, in search of lost loved ones underwater and find a Chevy Silverado Pickup Truck after recovering 2 cars in the river at this same location yesterday.

🚒 Big Thanks to Jackson County Tow Service for coming out two days in a row and donating their time and services again to help us clean up the environment.
The truck we found today was a Chevy Silverado Pickup.
Pulling the truck out of the river and up the hillside was a fun little challenge.
Being pressed for time, we made quick work of today's underwater recovery before leaving to Atchison, Kansas in search of lost loved ones, Billy and Mary.

I got hooked on these videos from the solved missing persons cases, but this is a lot of fun too. Glad to see someone cleaning up the environment like this. I'd be lying if I said that the vehicle recovery itself wasn't satisfying on some level.

Same, but then I realised what I was looking at - the deck was to the bottom with the vehicle pointing 'up', the left rear tyre just visible as it was lying a little to the right.

Hey guys, this seems like a long shot but, in my hometown in Pasadena MD there was a teenager struck by a Ford Expidition a few years ago. It was a hit and run and (Skylar Marion) passed away in the hospital a short time later. The vehicle has still not been found and if it were to be located police would be able to find out who it is. Pasadena Maryland has so many body’s of water near this area. If you guys have any hope in this case please try. I don’t want to be involved personally in the investigation but thought I would at least put it out there if this is even seen. Please like this comment so we can have them see it and god bless you all.

Seems like you're at the Missouri River quite often. I live in Missouri. So I got on the missing person's file for Missouri. It's absolutely uncanny how many people come up missing. So sad. Be careful on your travels.

Yeah. I have an ex who had someone "find " his truck and put it in a river. Granted this was 35 yrs ago. But Pretty sure that's what you are tripping on.

@@alexandersupertramp1293 true enough, saltwater is more corrosive which would make the truck in an even worse condition in just 3 years time vs the 6+ it might have been in that river.

Jared I was just wondering how you got started with doing this in the first place and came up with the idea of getting vehicles out of the rivers. Did you just get a sonar piece of equipment as a gift and decide to start playing with the new toy🤣. I sold my 99 earlier this year and I never touched the motor in 10 years. Hell I didn't even change the oil because it leaked enough (self changing). When I sold it had 315k miles on it. It ran beautifully. Ac was even ice cold. The first gen 5.3s are hard to beat

By the look of the truck its the holy grail Gen 3 5.3... an L33 lol. If you have LS's leaking oil you have issues lol.

The rings would be rusted to the cylinders, valves rusted to the heads plus the crank and rod bearing would be rusted , cam would be weld rusted to the cam bearings plus the fish and fish eggs in the cooling system doesn't help, maybe even a lamprey eel in the exhaust, but just add a little mystery oil and she'll fire right up

I can pretty well guarantee you the owner is dead in the truck. Look at that crushed roof. That was a multiple rollover accident. Even if they were alive and conscious when they hit the water, there would be no getting out.
