Hi Mandy, Thank you for the useful information. In my situation my visa was first approved for a university and then within 2 days of my visa approval (didn’t receive my passport yet) my i20 was canceled mentioning the reason as the seats are full(no prior intimation). Hence which i emailed they embassy and i was suggested to come for another interview if the sevies program or university anything is being changed. With this I changed my university and went for another interview yesterday however i was denied and cwop was marked on my visa approved page. Has my situation got complicated. Could you please assist what i can do in this case.

But i have a question, my first interview,the last question before i was denied was if i had "any relative in the US" and i replied to her saying "No, I have no immediate relative in the US"... Whereas, on my DS-160 form, i filled in No immediate family but Yes for other relatives... Do you feel the answer i gave could have been the reason? If yes, what should i have answered cos the honest truth is filling Yes for other relatives on my DS-160 form was a mistake from the onset, my uncle who is there isn't someone i have close relation too, neither have i heard from him in years... I got admission in one of the top universities in USA which is the university of michigan dearborn, but I got rejected back in july 2023. I deferred my admission, and still can join winter semester. Hi officer, hope you are doing well! I applied for a pilot academy in Hillsboro, Oregon. When i went for my visa interview for the first time, the office was taking so long on asking questions for me. Every questions he asked he would wait for at least 20sec or 30sec and ask me the next question and he asked me like 5 questions and he just said your visa has been denied. I applied for the second time and and the same question came up in mine “ what has changed from from your last application “ i gave a honest answer for that and still after she just asked who is funding and i told my dad and he is in United States right now and he has taken out loan from his 401k and the next moment she just denied me. Is this happening because my parents are in United States and one more thing is that i did tell both officers that I’ll be coming back and they still denied it.

An affidavit of support was submitted in year 2021 and now my immigrant visa interview has been scheduled so before interview is it must to submit/upload an updated signed affidavit of support or it is enough if latest tax transcripts and W2s/1099 are uploaded? hii, I got rejected this time for my F1 visa. In the beginning i was asked about my educational background, universities i applied to and was asked for the reason for selection of this university. everything went pretty smooth till then but after that she asked me whether my aunt lives there or not, I said no. After that she asked that in 2015 when u got refused for visitors visa with your parents, why u wanted to visit back then? I answered to meet my father's friend. After this she checked something and got refused. Now the actual thing is my aunt lives there but we are not in touch so i said no, but back in 2015 when my father applied he mentioned that his cousin sister lives there and due to this contradictory information I might have got rejection. I did not wish to lie intentionally but my consultant said your f1 visa have nothing to do with previous visitors visa rejection and that is why we did not pay attention to it and this blunder happened. I put self funding and on my ds-160 I put it that I run an oil servicing company. My COA is 24,500 dollars no scholarship.
