@@ajp_3391 agreed on inconsistent decision making. But that was throughout entire season, not just here. Max got disadvantaged so often this season die to FIA decisions. This balances it a bit. Max was the best this season. Hamilton was the best in Abu Dhabi. But Max is the rightful champion.

I do really question how the situation would have changed had they not let Hamilton take the short cut at the first lap.

@@Kartracer6 tbh mate Lewis was so fast he would of just cruised up to the back of max with drs and past him, could of given us a more interesting strategy battle or increased the chance of a crash but who knows

@@Kartracer6 yeh cause he pitted for new tyres and wasn’t gaining by much at all realistically if Lewis handed the place back, he would have just overtook with drs. He almost did last lap with no drs and a 2 second tyre deficit

Would it have been harder on Hamiltons tires trying to pass, would it have taken him a couple laps, would max have kept him closer with getting the DRS himself after getting passed, would Perez have held him up later during stops allowing max to extend a lead? He wasn't pulling away as dramatically as everyone thinks he was. The only reason he was so far ahead at the safety car is because max had just pitted again for another thing if fresh tires. In fact max may have been ahead when the safety car came out and it may have been hamilton on fresh softs on the restart

Cara, como que Hamilton foi fazer aquela curva abrindo tanto daquele jeito, por isso foi ultrapassado com facilidade pelo Max. Torci pelo Hamilton, mas ficou provado que ele não sabe defender posição, já o Max provou que sabe aproveitar todo e qualquer espaço, por isso mereceu vencer. Obs: se fosse o Senna no lugar de Hamilton, o Max jamais teria ultrapassado.

Ofcourse, both Max and Lewis knew exactly what they were doing and what the risks were: Hamilton was - in one aspect - the whole race in a vulnerable position: Lewis started being on 2nd place in the WDC standings, so he had to avoid a crash or DNF at all cost; even when it would result in a DNF for both Max and Lewis. Max pushed Lewis to the outside edge, but not too far, leaving just enough space for one car. Lewis had the faster carvon the long straights, but immediately made 1 fatal mistake in turn 5, underestimating Max and not defending the inside of turn 5. After that overtake, Max made zero mistakes and consistently defended the inside of turns where Lewis might try an overtake.

@@Wuppie62 You forgot that Max was on soft tires and Lewis was on a 43 Laps old hard tires...The diference on grip in these case is insane. Just unfair. The correct decision is red flag and both on soft tires

@@Matheus-oq7dz No, I didn't forget about the tyres. RedBull made a pitstop, Mercedes didn't and chose to be conservative twice. Lewis' Mercedes had the tuned overpowered edition of its engine, and had the faster car: you can see that Lewis could get next to Max with overspeed, even without DRS. So both car had different (dis)advantages. Lewis made the mistake not to defend the inside of turn 5 after the restart, Max did not make that same mistake when Lewis attacked Max on the end of the long straights. F1 races are often 'unfair' and have incidents that disrupt a race. But Lewisfans only want to look at this one last race, as if that race and incident alone is representative for the whole championship. You have to look at all the races combined, and then it's clear that Max is the deserved champion: in races in which both finished, Max beat Lewis more often than the other way around. Silverstone was Lewis' fault, but Lewis was gifted a free ride to victory, with the fastest car, a red flag and his rival out of the race: this caused a difference of approximately 40 racepoints. AD21 caused a difference of only 7 racepoints.

É como se isso não fosse bastante, Max ultrapassou Hamilton sob SC, farto reconhecido pelos comissários, embora esses tenham feito vista grossa à essa quebra da regra (bem como fizeram os comissários em Interlagos, depois em Jeddah). Mas, tem mais, o piloto holandês mais uma vez jogou o carro para cima do Hamilton, deixando para esse a decisão de bater ou não. Não entendo como as pessoas podem eleger um piloto que tentou tanto bater no competidor direto, conseguindo inclusive (braketest provado por telemetria sem receber bandeira preta) como o melhor da temporada. Outra coisa , você fala tanto que o Max deveria ser desclassificado porque ultrapassou de forma arrojada ( e é isso que queremos ver nas corridas ) , eu não sei se você tem idade , porém se é como falou então o Airton Senna deveria ser banido do automobilismo , porque de forma proposital bateu na Ferrari do Alain Prost para ficar com título em 1980 . He should've Red flagged the race then we would've had a 3lap shootout. Not a one sided , contreversial last lap. Masi was clearly favoring RB. If he wanted to keep the sport untainted he would've just red flagged the race as it was a crash clearly big enough to warrant that.

@@1StevenValdez1 no it wasnt it was the most mild crash ever and honestly the race shouldve started sooner because it was cleared quickly as well but that half spin into a barrier was no where near damaging or fast enough to warrant a red flag and the cars have g force sensors that auto call out red flags if a crash is too serious of an impact
