Craig, I am really enjoying your channel. My 1968 F-250 Custom Cab Camper Special is restored, but needs some freshening up all over! You’re helping me get back into the mindset, as well as showing me some things I had never had apart - which takes the mystery out of it. Much appreciated, and keep up the great work. Truck looks great. I have a 66 that I have been working on, and changing similar things. I had the radio problem too. The guy I bought it from previously put in an aftermarket huck of crap, and I wanted to fill in the hole. Bought an original one on ebay to fill the hole. I saw at a carshow these guys put new decks in the glovebox because all the led lights and touch screen look out of place in a classic pick up.. just a thought. If you are looking for any interior parts, I have a 69 that the interior is pretty mint on.

Very late response but I feel very bad as well to cut a flag although I have seen several people do it. One other option that I think looks great is stain a thing piece of wood after you paint the flag on to it. Leave the white stripes unpainted so the wood grain comes through. Obviously you want a blonde or light colored wood. Also try a foam insulation behind the wood to help with heat ans sound. Great project and whatever you do, best of luck. I have a 78 f150 custom 2wd with 302.

Nice truck. Working on them brings a lot of satisfaction. One thing though. the music is a pain when you are trying to tell us about what you are doing. I have no clue as to why everyone thinks music is a must. Mayvbe on fast forward, but not a necessity. Keep up the good work.

Decal looks great. I wouldn't use a flag as a headliner for the reason you stated.

Even with the crack in the decal that headliner looks awesome, i was thinking about doing it with a rebel flag if i could even find one

This is an improper way to display the US flag. The union should be on toward the front of the vehicle.

no do not disrespect the flag by using it for anything but putting it up a pole. even though that was a sticker you used it was still a flag. imo you should find something else for your headliner. i like what you have done to your truck so far. i"stole " you idea to paint your gauge bezel.
