Honestly I think part of why F1nn's experience is so different is because they're genderfluid. I'm also genderfluid and I actually have had a very similar experience. Don't worry you're still trans 👍

I know this is more of a term with Gen Z, but F1NN 100% strikes me as a "bruh" girl. It's an archetype that still presents feminine, but also doesn't hesitate to be boisterous, loud, and curt with their behavior.

it's interesting watching F1nn struggle to recognize and assess his feelings without at all recognizing that he's just not good at talking about or recognizing his feelings. immediately leaps to conclusions and probably had a crisis when it seems like the answer for him is just "feelings are hard and idk how to handle them yet". Also, I'm not genderfluid but a lot of genderfluid folks express having trouble solidly delineating their dysphoria and euphoria.

So to add something to the Finn is genderfluid thing, as someone who is also autistic/adhd it adds another layer of complexity to the experience. When you don't experience life the way allistic people do, when your baseline experience is different, it can often be challenging to see how you fit in. Alexithymia, which a lot of us struggle with, throws even more complexity on the situation.

It's awesome to see how different trans experiences can be! I personally never went through a "baby trans phase" like so many people did. I tried out a lot of feminine stuff, and a lot of it was nice, but it was never an "Oh my god this is amazing, I'm never going back again" I honestly just wear whatever I want, no matter whether it's more feminine or more masculine. I like to joke that the trans girl in me and the lesbian in me are constantly arguing over what to wear lol

I will add that cisgender individuals can feel gender euphoria. Finn being genderfluid (which is a nonbinary identity, which is then a transgender identity) could feel gender euphoria from throwing a stick quite far. Gender euphoria (and, in turn, gender dysphoria) is different for everyone and can mean different things.

It's so funny seeing their dynamic because it perfectly encapsulates how there are infinitely many types of trans people living their own unique lives

The normal wearable outfit thing makes all the sense- Finn's whole deal for like multiple years has been wearing these exaggerated femboy looks, usually contributed by subscibers who want to see him in them, mostly in pink- and for part of that time was explicitly gendering himself as Not Trans Regular Boy. As a fellow genderfluid: I have had to wear highly gendered work drag in both masculine and feminine modes where my internal sense of gender was less important than the implicit or explicit dress code, and as a result that whole range of styling doesn't make me feel as much like I am getting the pink or blue fuzzies as things suited to my evolving senses of my genders. Sometimes when your job is pink pink becomes something else, and that's interesting and complicated!

How about: "Gender Euphoria to Gender Eubiquity"? One reason why I quit being stealth was that I discovered that wearing tights or stockings alleviated my knee pain, and I had no interest in suffering to appear "normal". There is both a tactile and visual euphoria to this, it's cheaper and easier to style lots of combos with skirt or shorts for vast wardobe variety. Part of that process was that I quit wearing cotton almost entirely, as it just doesn't feel as good to me as most other fabrics.

People are discussing Finn not really feeling dysphoria or euphoria so let me throw my hat in the ring with a weird and hyper specific analogy. So two of my friends at one point became extremely close with each other and were in a roleplay game together where they had their characters dating. After a few months they started dating (literally everyone knew they liked each other before they did) but because they had already been so close and roleplaying characters who were dating not a lot changed because they had basically been dating for months even if they didn't realise it. Thats basically how I see Finn's thing. He spent so long living as a gender fluid person already just without the label that now he has the label people think she's in his "baby trans phase" when actually he's been doing this for years so he doesn't feel things like gender euphoria or dysphoria because she's gone past that phase of being trans. Obviously that's just a theory of a random youtube viewer I don't claim to know Finn's feelings better than him.

F1nn has gender euphoria, he just is always in that gender euphoric state. Once his brain matures with the HRT he will realise that some of those things do not bring him as much joy as they used to. I am going through a very similar thing, except when I moved I was unable to be as open with my gender as I used to be able to be. This caused me to notice and realise that some certain things would bring me joy but I would soon "grow" out of them.

My first experience with gender euphoria was actually at least a decade before my egg cracked. And it’s only looking back at it that I realize it was gender euphoria. But sometime after I got out of college, I decided I didn’t want to use a backpack to carry my stuff around anymore.after some shopping, I ended up with a “satchel.” Just a small little bag I could wear over my shoulder. And it gave me such a positive feeling to have it. I didn’t know why at the time.

1) i never really associated pink with feminine so that didn't really do anything for me. 2) i hate dresses but skirts are fun. Haven't actually worn any out in public though. 3) I've never liked kneesocks or thigh highs but leggings/tights/pantyhose are nice. 4) i've never liked the sexualized part even before transitioning 5) haven't done anything with nails but I want to (work issues) 6) i completely agree with the being treated as weak thing. It just feels nice to not be expected to do all the manual labor 😂 7) i also agree with fin on normal outfits making me feel more euphoric than anything.

A lot of trans people watch your content of all ages and it is really nice meeting people who are older and trans as they are a bit more wiser it seems like. But its also nice seeing people who are younger than you, smarter, and still wiser because they are further along on the journey they just started before you did type of ordeal. I had a lot of issues with accepting myself and a lot of older trans people did because the times and envirorments we all grew up in. Also the lies we must defeat inorder to start loving and accepting ourselfs. Like a lot of our culture is based in lies, and things we may think are truths are actually lies. Repressing also really really sucks.

A term I've been using for a while now is "Gender Euthymia". Euthymia is the psych term for the neutral baseline state that is just generally positive. I find that most of the trans people I speak to who are a number of years into their gender journey primarily experience their gender through Euthymia. They don't have as many instances of "This triggers a sense of overwhelming happiness in me" but they just have an everyday feeling of "The things in my life that align with my gender just feel right to me and generally positive".

When I first transitioned (as a much older person than Icky or F1nn), I got a small amount of gender euphoria as men at work started gaslighting me, talking over me, cutting me off, etc. that quickly wore off as I started living daily the bullshit every other woman in a professional field does.
