These videos are the very best out there on YT on the charts. Very clear and easy to understand. I have my 107 on Mon. The bits that were confusing me are now as clear as day ! Thanks subbin' to you guys !

Thanks for taking the time to explain this! I have a question about class E airspace. If an airport is a Class E with no surface extension, could I technically fly my drone 400ft or below around that airport? And technically 699ft if I was hired to inspect something?

Jacen Burchell Thanks for watching. I’ll give you a 2 part answer. First if you were in a class E surface area within the lateral boundaries of the airport, then a waiver would be required. A waiver is not required for surface extensions. As far as the height goes you can legally fly up to 400’ above a structure as long as you are within 400’ of the structure and the altitude does not put you into another class of airspace that requires a waiver.

I'll get you some views for this if it's OK. I'll post links to all 3 videos on one of the paragliding forums I participate in. People there clamor for this information and I've been too lazy to make a similar vid myself, as I have acute APIN (aviation publication induced narcolepsy). Self diagnosed of course...
