I find that interesting, I mean if the Othercrowd know from past experience that humans have the capability to lie, then why help us out or interact with us at all? great upload and information given.

Humans know from past experience that the fair folks can twist the meaning of words and be very dangerous, yet that doesn't stop humans from interacting with them, or for some to assume human thinking and morality about them.

When you mention borrowing, they don't always ask. I have had things borrowed and returned but did not know if they would turn up again, until they did, thankfully. Usually silver jewellery, interestingingly.

I have never had a problem with them stealing from me, I let them know that they are my friends so what's mine is theirs and it's worked out great.

Not if you had an unbaptised child, I would bet. I do not think you would quite accept a changeling. Just saying. 🙄🙄

Could it be that the difference between taking things one has spoken ill of vs. bragged about is that when you're bragging, they take it as an invitation or advertisement? 🤔 While speaking ill of it, one can always apply "One man's junk is another man's treasure."

Hi Morgan, thank you so much for your videos... always so inspiring and knowledgeable... I have a question that would be related to the topic... but it might be a sensitive subject... are the good neighbours ok with cannabis and alcohol... can these drugs be used as offerings? I know that there is a history of absinthe being associated with the fae folk... I know some eastern cultures see cannabis as a holy plant... any thoughts?

There's Celtic folklore around alcohol, both fairies drinking it and stealing it, and modern folk traditions include offering it. Cannabis I'm less sure of but in the Americas afaik tobacco is used as an offering and I'd guess cannabis in a natural form would be similar.

Could you give me a source about the concept of haelness? I could not find anything about it.

One might also use this analysis to explain the rash nature we tend to exhibit while in our dream space... not all fairies are physically clean, some fairies do lie (usually nasty ones, tinkers an tricksters), some fairies are sexual, but not in any vulgar or perverted way, you wouldn't call a child a pervert, similarly in the law, fairies are just as ficcle minded as children. some fairies seem to think that humans are beneath them in some respect, beneath them in respect to wisdome and knowledge... fairies normally do what they please, usually using humans as a means to an end... the nature of this usually results in some sort of possitive resolve for the human, i.e open mindedness, learning a lesson, a punishment, as you say, to prevent bragging, rudeness, and disrespect which obviously varies subjectively in severity, either way there are usually reprisals
