Jimmy thought John meant “crack” as in make him laugh. But he was actually using “crack” as in cracking his “nice guy” image. The two laughing at “bastard” was gold.

Important life lesson\life hack: you can count to twelve on one hand, instead of just counting to five, or ten using both hands. Using your thumb, count one for each of the three bones in each of the four fingers on that hand. Babylonians used to do this to count to sixty, using the other hand to count the fingers as we normally do, for how many times the 12 were restarted. Great to learn, thanks to QI.
