Josh, I’m a single father to a 16yr old girl who’s going through some of these exact issues. Thanks for having her on and sharing, I will try to get my daughter to watch or listen to this episode. Never stop working for our children.

I connected to this the same way. Going thru a terrible marriage situation with a 12 yr old daughter and she has a lot of similar stuff going on. Going to show her this video.

For her to want to wait for your permission says a lot about you as a father. The fact that she has that much respect for you shows what a great dad you are. As a girl dad myself, I can really appreciate and respect that.

It is cool to get a little peek into your personal life. I’m happy to see that your daughter seems to be doing so much better. Now get a bow in her hand

Boy this one hits home so much. My daughter is 15 and struggling with anxiety and depression as well and it’s been a journey and also so dealing with loosing my mom my dad and my oldest son in the past 4 years. Even though this one isn’t about archery which is my therapy a lot of the times when I start breaking down. This would be one of my favorite ones you guys have done. Thank you guys for being who you are and keep these podcasts coming.

Never thought I'd have an archery podcast make me cry...... But here we are! I currently have a 5 and 7 year old and I think the things your family has been through are things we all have as possibilities in the backs of our minds. Seeing someone else successfully navigate the worst case scenarios and come out with such a bond is amazing.

I appreciate the vulnerability in this one, thank you for opening up MFJJ, not sure I could do it on or off camera. Real world stuggles for real world dudes. Thank you for the content, and what you are doing.

It’s refreshing to see a man who has a deep love for his family, and it is honest enough to share his views outside of his professional views and personal things in life. Well done Josh and Tim and your daughter.

It is awesome, to see a family that has open and honest conversations with each other. My family was not at all that way.

Wasn't sure how this one would go, but turned out really good, only question I wanted answered that wasn't, was why she never had any interest in archery.

This was an awesome episode! Love archery and the knowledge of MFJJ but the family side of him was grounding. Sometimes we build legends in our head of people. Good to hear that they are human just like everyone else.

I know you were super nervous going into this podcast, Josh, but what a good decision to do it. There is so much in this episode that will be helpful for so many people, including me. I applaud you both for opening up like this, and thank you, Tim, for such good questioning and keeping such a good flow. I have a son that feel apart when his grandpa passed in 2016 very unexpectedly when my son was 11. He is starting to get things back together now that he is 18, but some very dark times for sure. I also have a daughter that has been doing club volleyball since she was about 9 and is very talented as well. The difference is that she is involved in archery and shoots with me in indoor leagues and 3d shoots. I wish you and the family the very best Josh!

This was great and I appreciate your daughters courage to share her struggles. I have a son who suffers from anxiety and he has struggled with much of what she described. Seems like this is becoming more common or perhaps we are just recognizing it for what it is. Best of luck to all of you and keep up the great content.

Only about 10 min in and would just like to say Josh I appreciate how you've raised your child. Reminds me of myself being blunt and honest and her growing up being honest back to you. Props from a dad in a not great marital position but also have a daughter that respects me. 🤙

My daughter is 36 and tattoos are a conversation we never had. Both my son and daughter had a slogan "you don't put a bumper sticker on your Ferrarri". Both went off to college and neither ever choose to be tattooed.

Man Josh I'm currently going thru similar marital issues where I feel like I care about and know my kids more than her but she's taken them from me bc they're hers not mine (biologically). U didn't want to do this but respect for this. Gonna send this video to my daughter as she goes thru many similar things and I think she can learn some things from how your daughter handled it.
