My family has been living in hotels for 5 years now. We have 2 kids 12& 14. We don't drink,smoke and definitely don't do drugs. We just can't save any money living like this. It's been a nightmare trying to keep safe. If it wasn't for my faith in God, i don't know how I'd make it through another day. My husband drives a truck 14 hours a day and all our money goes to paying this room and food. We just need that break to get us into a home

I do have sympathy for these children. One thing I do agree with the children's mother is her anger with the representatives who are there to help her yet say that there is nothing that they can do. The idea of one agency moving the problem onto the next is upsetting. These agencies consistently pass the buck when it comes to actually helping children.

Folks that live in rv's "Are Not Homeless PERIOD." This is totally outrageous and unacceptable for this family and anyone else that lives in a rv to have their home STOLEN from them. They deserve their property "Rightfully Returned Back To Them." They should NOT be forced to pay for their own property being returned to them either. They did nothing wrong, they are human beings and are very much a part of society in the community. They don't break laws and I am quite positive that they pay for things out of their own pockets. Shame on the state local officials that are behind this illegal seuzure of one's owned property !!!

What really annoys the shit out of me are people that keep having kids when they can't afford to even look after themselves and then go have yet another child. If your that disfunctional you shouldn't even have kids!

A lot of this happens when developers buy up cheap apartments, put in upgrades that nobody wants, and then raises the rent by 200 bucks. There is a serious lack of affordable housing in this state. I would love for Pelosi's nephew to have to spend one week on the street. Then maybe our great Governor will pull that silver spoon out of his mouth and actually help people.

Praying for you. 🙏🙏🙏 I have been there, homeless in California. The best advice I can give is call 211 and get into a shelter so you can get into the co-ordinated entry system. Nothing will happen housing wise unless you are in this system.

Just seeing this a month later and would love an update. I hated that they had a place to live that was free and it was taken! Give me a break! First of all stop wanting everyone else to take care of you, Including government. Stop bringing children in this world till your able to care for them the right way. I was homeless like this with my parents. I know they were not going to change and I was miserable. At the age of 13 got myself a job and moved in with one of the workers then got my own place at 16. Still doing great. They need to snap out of their victim mentality. My parents died in the streets.

The more I see stuff like this the more I'm starting to lose faith in humanity. Tow guy had no heart whatsoever and just left them to fend for themselves while he gets to go home to a nice meal and probably happy and healthy kids. What is wrong with this society.

There's no reason for not having more programs in place to help with the American Homeless.. we can spend millions of dollars helping foreign countries, we can't even spend a quarter of that helping homes. This is a sad state of America an American government.

I have a question: If you are financially unstable? Why do you have an infant and two other children? I can understand you as an adult fall in poverty however having 3 children in said poverty is completely irresponsible. I wish you well.

This is sad that any family in this country lives like this. I blame the incompetent governor Nuisance and the federal government. What I see this current administration do is allow people here illegally for votes and cheap labor and bend over backwards to help them just for that reason. Our government won't take care of its own citizens because there's nothing to gain out of it plain and simple.

Lots of rvs became inoperable due to breakdowns. Can mechanics form a charity organization to get parts from salvage yard and help to fix those broken down RVs? The condition of them stationary RVs can be so bad that living on the street is preferable.

I'm sorry I feel bad for the kids but that grown man needs to go get a job.

Where are her mother, father, brother, sister, cousins? Is there a husband? You can't just park your broken down rv anywhere you want. There's a brother? Your brother won't take you in? Yes absolutely she needs help. But these people on the streets need to help themselves also, why have another baby while on the streets to create more stress and turmoil that you are currently in? We as women need to be to get some type of health care for birth control or tie our tubes so children don't go into foster care. The government needs to at least give the homelss healthcare options because the cycle is just gonna continue with the kids they have.. watch soft while underbelly im learning so much about the cycle People go through hard times and its out of your hands but having more children while on the streets just seems like a million times stressful..God bless her and keep her in faith. There are many people who don't want to be told what to do about shared living, homeless shelters have pushed families apart and not one single person takes responsibility for the working class poor who aren't drug addicts, not mentally impaired, or law breakers. I personally know a complexed family who decided not to live in the elements when a heartless home owner, his handy man, and that man's wife threatened the very lives of that family. They lived in and out of motels, camped and such for four years, then by the Grace of God and obiedent people who loved the same God helped them get a home. It still isn't the best but it's better than falling through the cracks deliberately created by the government which has been doing the same things now for at least a Hundred years. Things under an individual, not the political parties that do the same thing as each other but somehow seem to always blame the other when something really bad happens just to put themselves back in control. Want to fix the homeless problem, start by allowing people to live in enough space to actually be somewhat comfortable, allow them to keep their hard earned money by not allowing rents to exceed a reasonable amount, not overcharging for basic electricity, water, garbage, and sewer. Not everyone needs to have every channel allotted for cable, internet or gaming systems. Those are luxurious items not necessarily needed to live. Allow people to save money in a credible way. Stop punishing single parents and extended families helping them by being the caretakers of children keeping family values intact, unless of course there's proof of real abuses or addictions which don't help. Stop trying to make everyone conform to the political temperature of which ever party is in control which starts at the local district and continues to the National government. The Original Documents outline our God given Rights which we all need to remember the government does not give them however they've been legislating them away for many decades. A little compassion and empowerment go a long way.

I can't believe they have no family who would let them stay in the garage or a spare room so they can get back on their feet some people don't want to be helped.

Why don't they open the fair grounds for people motor homes? There has to be somewhere they can park and live.

The first step in creating change would be for them to get a job. Both are young and able bodied. Nobody gave me a " good life " my husband works his ass off every day so that we have a good life.

What's the update on this family? Wish we could of heard for dad. So happy rhe family is stay strong together. They needed each other. Hope they got the rv back. I have a baby right now and I can't imagine being out there an SUV with a baby.
