Sourdough pancakes
Ingredients
* 4 cups active sourdough starter
* 4 eggs
* 1/2 cup of melted butter
* 1/4 cup of sugar or maple syrup
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
* 1/2 teaspoon of salt
* 2 teaspoons baking soda
* coconut oil or lard for frying
The night before, feed your sourdough starter to make sure you have enough for the recipe. The following day combine all of the ingredients and mix. Melt your cooking oil in a pan on medium heat then add the batter. Once the bubbles on the uncooked side of the pancake start popping, flip your pancake over.

White Bean Soup
Ingredients
Ingredients
* 4 cups dry navy beans, soaked overnight
* 4 celery, diced
* 4 carrots, diced
* 2 tablespoons of olive oil
* 1 diced onion
* 4 cloves of garlic, minced
* 1 bay leaf
* 1 teaspoon of thyme
* 2 teaspoons of paprika
* 1 teaspoon of rosemary
* Salt to taste
In a crockpot combine the ingredients except for the salt. Cover with water and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Once cooked mash some of the beans to thicken and salt to taste.

Meatloaf
Ingredients
* 3 lbs of ground beef
* 1 cup of breadcrumbs
* 3 eggs
* 3/4 cup of milk
* 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire
* 2 teaspoons of salt
* 1 onion diced
For the sauce
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar or maple syrup
Combine all the ingredients for the meatloaf in pan. Shape into a loaf. In a separate bowl, combine the sauce ingredients. Pour over the mealoaf. Place in a 350 degree oven for 75-90 minutes.

Egg Roll in a Bowl
Ingredients
* 2 lbs of ground pork
* 3 cups of shredded cabbage
* 2 cups of shredded beets
* 2 cups of shredded carrots
* 1 diced onion
* 5 cloves of garlic, minced
* 2 cups of frozen corn
* 1/2 cup of soy sauce or coconut aminos
* 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar or maple syrup
* 1 teaspoon of ginger
In a pan, fry up the ground pork. Once browned add the onions and the garlic. Once cooked, add the ginger, coconut aminos and coconut sugar, stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes. Set the meat aside. Add lard or oil to the pan and sautée the cabbage, beets and carrots. After a few minutes add the corn. Once cooked, add the pork to the vegetables and stir to combine. Eat on its own or serve over rice.

Butternut Squash Chicken Chilli
Ingredients
* 1 butternut squash, cubed
* 1 onion, diced
* 6 cloves of garlic, minced
* 1 whole chicken
* 2 teaspoons of paprika
* 1 teaspoon of cumin
* 2 teaspoons of oregano
* 2 cups of white navy beans, soaked overnight then cooked
* 1/2 cup chopped jalapeño (or to taste)
In the morning, place your chicken in a slow cooker and cover with water. Add salt, garlic powder and onion powder. Cook on low for 8 hours, remove the chicken and set the meat aside. In a large pot, sautée the onions, garlic and squash. Add paprika, cumin and oregano. Ladle the leftover chicken stock from the crockpot into your pot. Add the jalapeño and let simmer for 15-20. Add the leftover chicken and white beans. Heat thoroughly and served topped with sour cream and cheese.

Sourdough Cornbread
Ingredients
* 2 cups of cornmeal
* 1 cup of flour
* 1/2 cup of sugar
* 1 cup of milk
* 1/2 cup of coconut oil, melted
* 1 cup of sourdough starter
* 2 teaspoons of baking soda
* 4 teaspoons of baking powder
* 2 eggs
* 2 teaspoons of salt
The night before, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, milk, coconut oil and sourdough starter. Mix to combine and let ferment overnight. The next day grease a 9x13 pan with lard or coconut oil. To the ferment add the remaining ingredients. Stir until combined and pour into the prepared pan. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
