My sister worked at a See's Candy shop in Bakersfield, CA for decades. I could tell you what each candy had inside it by the distinct patterns on the surface of each piece :)

just so you know, tampons do have other uses. turns out they're perfect for soldiers, they can be stuffed in bullet and other wounds to staunch the bleeding. The way this as discovered was quite by accident. a male soldier got a female soldiers (not a specific one just generic ones sent to the unit) care package. It had tampons it it. He got ribbed a lot, but then the bleeps attacked and he stuffed them in his buddies wounds, they never ribbed him again, and wrote home for them. Now they all care some in various sizes.

that's a modern Ertl. The early ones were almost all metal, and those are worth bucks now. They used to make mostly tractors, trucks and WORKING farm implements.

I'm so glad that Marty is not one of those awkward people, who don't want to film and share their hobby, because they wouldn't understand the internet. Companies do that too. So I am always very happy to see people and companies being open for KZfaq and internet and share their activities. It's not only free advertising, but it also connects people and educates as well.

Hi Marty. The hovercraft used to run from Southampton to West Cowes until the late 70’s ... they also ran from Southsea to Ryde . This service is still running but with modern diesel powered craft . Until the 80’s the services used SRN6 craft built here on the Isle of Wight at East Cowes . Love watching your videos , take care and stay safe .

So inspiring that when he did the Packard I got out my 1911 Simplex Yesteryear and straightened the bashed and bent front axle and fenders and made a good roller. I discovered the pale front apolstery was faded from red and the pale lime was beautifully faded too. Now that she's a good roller all I need to do is add the missing steering wheel and spare tire.

What connected as a trailer to the SuperKing truck was a car carrier. Was one of my favorite toys when I was younger. Still have it too. In mint condition.

My Grandmother gave me one of those excavators when I was 5. It's still in pretty good shape. That E-Type is a Siku model. The Starfighters in the CAF were classed as CF-104. Love these and your makeover videos! Cheers from Ottawa.

The Silver E-Type Jag Coupe (E 2+2) with opening doors is made by 'Siku' - West Germany No. V294. I have one, bought in early 1980.

That red tractor unit had a car transporter on the back I had a blue version. Never understood why it looked so futuristic but that's what mine was.

Hi Marty, hovercrafts still run between Southsea and Ryde, Isle of Wight - which is where I live. Great form of transport where big tides leave dry sands! Of course these were invented and developed on the Island, like many other great things! Strangely addictive channel, remember many of the cars you restore.

Other ships of war (in absence of their specific term) are called 'warships'... @21:12 "Full of Eels"? The Luftwaffe Tornado and a Coast Guard helicopter were the first Skybusters we ever owned. Still have the Ford Group 6 given to us by a friend when we was a li'l whelk... We took a crusticated Lincoln Continental and glued a bit of cardboard over the hole where the top used to be, painted it black and now we has a Lincoln convertible...

Another great unboxing video, this classic format is the best to watch, some great prizes and gems you got there! Carry on mate, there must be a lot more waiting. Cheers to Kevin 🐨, hope he keeps his nose clean and doesn't get nicked. I imagine he got fired from the garage after you crashed the custom Packard. Tsk, tsk, too bad. The brabham race car I first thought was the lobster claw... but the front looks like the later martini ones... appears to be missing the intake on top of the motor.

Hovercraft still go between the Isle Of Wight and Portsmouth - I had a flight on one in 2015, just for fun. I went on one in the 1970's when they were still using the SRN-6. (Saunders Roe Nautical - 6)The much larger SRN-4 Hovercraft used to carry passengers and cars from Dover and Ramsgate in Kent, to ports in France. The channel crossing took about 35 minutes. The service was stopped in 2000, and the launching areas were abandoned, and now lie, forgotten. It's rather sad, actually. That E-Type looks like a Siku model to me. It does need some TLC, Marty. Who is the voice of reason behind the camera? His comments throughout, gave me a good, and well needed laugh.

new to your channel, loving it :) I had one of the larger hovercraft as a child in green, it was well loved (ie played with) and herefore never survived. Once the lockdowns are over i will visit my fathers loft and see what is there and maybe try a few restorations myself. Keep safe and keep making videos.

Great vlog Marty. You'll have to get a diorama ready for the battleships. I would love to see you do something like you did with the D-Day models with them. I had one when I was younger and I loved doing the Airfix kits of ships as they where so fiddly. Hope you take that "on board" and give em a go it would look splendid :)

If it wasn't Julie's taste in men that impressed me, it's her taste in automobiles. Saab was the best car brand ever, may it rest in peace. I will forever regret selling my 1986 900 turbo hatchback. Keep your Saab, Julie- it'll be a museum piece in another few years!

The red Semi-Truck ist a K-10 tractor from a car-hauler/car-transporter. The Matchbox excavator ist a O&K MH6 (a german axcavator company). The silber Jaguar E 2+2 is from the German toy-car company named SIKU. This Car is numbered V294 at Siku. 🇩🇪👋😉

The Siva Spyder is an automobile which was produced during the 1970s in Great Britain by Siva Engineering. Conceived as a Hillman Imp-engined GT car for British sports car manufacturer Marcos, the car was ultimately re-designed to become the Siva S160 Spyder. The S160 debuted at the 1971 Racing Car Show, utilizing a Volkswagen Beetle floor pan and running gear and featuring a gullwing coupé body. It was offered as a complete car or as a bare bodyshell. During my Army service in the 70s I was posted to Germany and our camp was an old Luftwaffe base from the war. It was divided into two and the other pary was manned by the Heer, The German Army Air Corps. Starfighters sometimes flew in there so I actually saw them live. Even then they were notorious for crashing but the problem was that the Germans overloaded them with equipment, presumably making the aircraft too heavy for its air frame. Marty I'm sure that I'm not the only Brit that winced when you gestured that there was only two packages left - I'm sure you know what I mean (Agincourt). Stay safe.

@4:44 "All these rubbers, I shall put out of the way!" I did a spit-take on that one! "Rubbers" means something different here in the States ;) @14:44 The Fleet Air Arm used Corsairs, too. It was the Royal Navy that demonstrated that the F4U could work off carriers, after our Navy originally rejected them for carrier use. @28:40 Yeah, See's is big out there in California. They started there. They have stores here in the East Coast, too, on the boardwalks at some towns on the Jersey shore. I like their salt water taffy and their fudge. @29:37 "Numm, numm, numm, numm, numm!"

According to Wiki, The Siva S160 Spyder had VW Beetle running gear, and gullwing doors. Only 12 were produced.
