I saved a man getting attacked by a badger. The badger became angry. The badger killed me. 10/10

Why do some of these reviewers demand that there be a political statement? It’s a video game goddamn

The amount of people complaining incessantly about a throwaway comment about how the game had underdeveloped themes regarding its politics really helps remind me that KZfaq commenters are some of the stupidest and most easily angered people on the planet. At no point in the video did the person narrating it say that they wanted there to be a political message shoved down people's throats, and they didn't focus on that part of the game much at all. The point they were making is that the game seemed interested in saying things about patriotism, liberation, and isolationism but didn't do so adequately. These are legitimate issues with writing a person can have, and the idea that it didn't have a political message whatsoever is counteracted by the way the game was marketed and what happens in the game. It's fundamentally political; whether or not you think the politics were "forced" isn't even the object of the review.

Yeah, but are they still confused, offended and hurt by the game? That's the real question.

I love how people complain about there not being a big political message, honestly that’s the best decision they made for the game, it’s like everyone just wants something to complain about

I don't understand these complaints about missing out on political commentary. The game is about cults like Waco and Jonestown, it's not about extremist political militias.

Why are you so offended? It is just a game. No politics it is a cult. Gosh.

Excellent review. So much coverage of this game has eschewed any insightful analysis into the changes this game makes to the formula. Not one other outlet made mention of the fact that there is no mini-map this time around. Glad you guys took the time to dig deep and actually deliver a solid review. This is why Gamespot stands above the rest.

Are we seriously complaining that the game doesn't try to shove a political message down our throats? Especially in this day and age where everyone and their mothers is trying to elevate their products by putting some kind of political message in it. Are we seriously complaining the game isn't dividing the players even more than they already are? Don't we fucking play games to forget about real life and it's problems? Gimme a break.

The main villain should've been Michael from Vsauce speaking out of context. It would be terrifying.
