Can you hook them without popping? Or do you have tips on hardening them so they don’t pop with a hook
@ReelCanadianFishing
@ReelCanadianFishing 3 жыл бұрын
They will pop. To use them singles I think you have to cool them.

Went from like to dislike when I realized this wasn't meant for human consumption. Went back to like because the video was informative and useful for fishing purposes, but I'm here lookin how to make trout caviar. Just some (hopefully) constructive feedback. Also if you know anything about that you should do a video on that too

Of course man. Btw I did some research and actually the way you do it here is totally fine to eat, people just usually use less salt and add seasoning (+sake for ikura) for caviar. Of course it doesn't keep as long, but it tastes better. Wish you well.

Does it matter if you use iodized or non iodized salt. My buddy told me his cure and he says if you use iodine it will ruin your eggs.
@ReelCanadianFishing
@ReelCanadianFishing 6 жыл бұрын
That Fishy Dude I have only ever used sea salt. but if you look on youtube people use ionized salt and they seem to have no problem.

actually I just checked and the salt I used was called sea salt but it is actually iodized. My roe is good so I think its safe to say that it can be used.

I don’t have any Sea Salt. Would table salt give the same results?
@ReelCanadianFishing
@ReelCanadianFishing 3 жыл бұрын
It will. Some people don't like to use it because it has iodine in it and it may give the roe a flavour to it. Personally I don't see a difference.
