We’re almost at 1k subs let’s go!! I needed this ap farming as I don’t have enough up so I needed to level up my pink materia to boost hp and mp. I spent a while looking for a good ap farm which I couldn’t find thanks so much ❤❤

Omg I know!!! The channel is almost 1y old and is currently having its best sub day ever. HP/MP will help you tremendously, but also the elemental materia will either help with spending less MP or not needing as much HP so I highly recommend that. Thank you as always for the support 🙏🙏🙏

The Gongaga method is good for leveling up materia that doesn't require alot of ap, that Chadley method is good for leveling up Hp/Mp absorb materia and the elemental materia too. Thanks for this bro.

Thank you, that is exactly what this is for. Honestly just playing through hard mode story is good for things like Prayer, Chakra, spells, etc. Getting the massive ones out of the way like elemental, warding, etc is a big deal and this enables to do this mid hard mode chapter when its needed

the uncouth challenge at the musclehead colosseum is very helpful too, AP UP with the materia u wanna level up on the chocobo armband, 2 easy rounds, 360 AP everytime, fast and easy

I do remember several battles in there having a round 1 with like 10 monsters. Im going there shortly to finish off my platinum requirements, so I'll check it out. How fast can you clean it out then reset and reload the battle? What I love about the queen bee is I can do it in any chapter, and the worker bees just keep coming endlessly for 12 AP each

you can also equip one character on each party with atb boost first strike and petrify. open up with level 3 quake every time one shots the mobs. keep repeating

Thanks for that tip. I do think using a few materia slots on combat enhancements in lieu of more slots to gain AP is very valuable as you start to run out of stuff to level other than the higher AP requirement materia

@@Gatabud 5 seconds each round, i used Windstorm with Yuffie in the first round and level 3 quake in the second one with Cloud. The game makes u restart the battle if u want as soon as you’ve finished

Another great skill for weak enemies is Mind Blast. Equip Tifa with Enemy Skill, First Strike, and the accessory that gives one full ATB bar. Equip Yuffie with First Strike and use windstorm to group, then eradicate with Mind Blast.

When you are ready to move on...do you need to finish the whole challenge (all ten rounds) to retain the APs that you gained, or can you quit after round 1 and still retain all APs gained from that round?

Seen a lot of AP farms, but this one looks to be the best for target farming. Does the rest of your teams Materia gain lvls in the simulator?

No it does not, but I've found that doesn't really bother me when I compare alternative methods. I want to just load up on AP up materias and target the stuff I care about immediately

I used this method but it's weird. Sometimes I get 0 AP on one of them but 2500 on some of them, 7000 on some of them etc. I just farmed for 10 minutes, killed the queen bee, then gave up on round 2 to check and I got those numbers. The 6x AP seems to be random whether or not it works. Did they patch this?

As far as i know this was not patched, and I doubt it ever would be

@@Gatabud Idk why they would patch it tbh, it's part of the game. I ended up finishing maxing all my materia using this method, but it still ended up being weird amounts. Thanks either way!

Im only 4 minutes in, but an additional step id recommend is that everyone in the party (even those mot fighting) should have materia equipped that still need AP. Everyone gets AP, even when they dont battle, so you should be able to max out everything else on your way to completing swift cast.

Only the 3 battling get AP here which is the one drawback but as I stated it's designed for the high AP materia you actually want

Surely it's better to just go to chap select reset quest data and do the kitten quest in nibleheim.. Follow the cat until she reaches the bee abd just farm there without killing the quuen as she spawns 4 new bees each time you kill them.. Quicker still if you just spam yuffie windstorm on the 4 new bees they die so quickly.. And worse case you kill the queen just go bk to chap select and redo it all again. Plus as you're in the wild every character gets ap.. In battle it's just the 3 that fights right?

I don't think it is, and if you consider my rationale I stated in the video it's important to me to be able to do this in the middle of a hard mode chapter. I also mentioned this exact thing at the end.

I'll check it out. I deliberately haven't been watching other people's stuff to ensure my ideas are fresh. The people in the Queen's Blood Nightmare Survival comments thank me for that. I like this method because I can do it any chapter while in hard mode

12 AP per little bee? That has to be a mistake, that is a crazy high amount of AP for such a small enemy, wouldn't be surprised if it isn't patched some time soon.

I think it's high because other than this battle it's only available during a quest in nibel. I don't think it'll get patched

If you do this after finishing the game, AP goes up by 3x if I recall. So this is actually normal. It's also part of the mechanics of the enemy to just keep spawning them. No reason for them to patch it.

@@mrpsthoughtsonthings I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure the brutal Chadley battles give the same regardless of game completion. I actually did these first couple of battles while still in chapter 13 and I entered Ch.14 at level 70 as a result

@@Gatabud Could be. I didn't try doing any AP farming until post-game and wasn't really paying attention to how much AP I earned for anything. It could also be that the brutal challenges are tuned for post game rates of exp. No idea.

Not a bad plan, but the game is easy enough to where you don't need to grind until at worst: late game. realistically, hard mode. Southern Gongaga @ Cliffside Storehouse area. kill Grangalans(slightly nothern Eggs), Amphidex/Fright Flower(Frog/plants southwest of eggs), chimera mimic/gagighandi(Mantis/lizard lion Southeast of frogs), and Grandhorn(east of the lizard lions, ....idk ....big spiked green and brown things). Save the game and run back through the path. Once you beat the game, you get 3x AP for all difficulties so come back on easy mode and farm away.

Do brutal challenge unending nightmare and try to kill as many worker bees without killing the queen and then give up and repeat to quickly level high AP materia using AP up, and one in Choco bangle. I'm a man of the people, thanks for the comment

Use the gongaga farm... and learn how to use materia. You took incredibly way too long to kill these mobs for the AP they reward.

The whole point of what I did was to just load up on high value materia paired with AP up and only use the bare minimum mastered materia in any chapter during hard mode. Did you watch the video?

@@Gatabud exactly. The bare minimum mastered materia can shred these mobs. The rotation I use is from the two grandhorns all the way south use fira, the chimera mob use blizzaga behind the obstruction unless you have swiftcast, then to the frogs use fira twice, then the eggs use fira, ride on chocobo through the forest kill a grandhorn and plants with fira, then immediately right two more grandhorns, then north to two chimeras with blizzaga. If you have HP to MP conversion materia this is a breeze. Just save and reload. Give cloud 1st strike and choko whatever accessory raises ATB one bar so he enters battle with full ATB everytime.
