After getting the first track day in with my 2020 Mustang GT and running the stock wheels, we returned to the drag strip for round 2 with the VMS Drag Wheels on Hades and somehow obtained our fastest pass in 95 degrees!

The more psi you can run and still hook the better. Less rolling resistance. If you are trying to optimize tire pressure, than only change tire pressure but keep the exact same launch rpm each time. Up or down 1 psi per pass and if 60 ft improves, keep going until it falls off and then go back to last setting on tire pressure. Don’t worry about mph too much either, a lot of variables with that. Get 60ft optimized and consistent and then you have a baseline to start from. Good luck and stay safe.

I have a 2019 pp1 5.0 6 speed manual with e85,CAI, tune by PBD and my best was 12.0 my launch could have been better but takes practice but this shows how great those 10 speeds are 🔥🔥can’t wait to see hades FBO !!

Great video bro! Drag racing is addicting for sure! My fastest car was a 10.98 124mph foxbody that was supercharged. This was in 2002 so way before all this "tech" stuff lol! Anyway enjoying the content you and Jake have been putting out!

A trick you can do to get more RPMs out of the stock converter so you can launch harder is put it in ( S ) put in in 2nd gear should get 3k RPMs out of it before it pushes threw the breaks. Bone stock gen 3s 10r80s have gone 11.7 with stock wheels and tires. whith a radial you can definitely do it

Biggest thing I had to learn from driving a stick for a decade to going to an auto. Is when you launch STAB it as hard and fast as you can. I had the habit of sorta side stepping/easing the gas pedal. With autos mash it as hard as you can.
