That torque is serious 😆. Definitely have to hunch over in mode 3! I’ve got a proper top speed video coming this week! I found a better, straighter road to use that should not be too busy. Going to make the proper camera adjustments this time I promise or I will refilm it til it’s right

If you keep watching you see I recorded the trip on my speedo app and showed it hit 61.4mph which isn’t even close to the actual top speed.

That’s awesome! I’ll have to investigate that display. I’ve got statorade in the core already. Had a really heavy run on a highway country road. Was really throttling it for a good 25minutes at speeds 50+. Motor was barely warm after I pulled over to check. Really am hitting all the sweet spots with this bike

@@MannyReidTV Cycle Analyst v3 was for ASI controllers but Grin Tech has a wiring harness for non ASI controllers. It really is an amazing display.

Very true! If you’re truly going to only offroad it that’s a no brainer. If you want to ride around town though it benefits you to have the pedals for sure.

That’s a very good point! The DKD is huge which I’m okay with. The brightness is really low so sunny days you can barely see it. Also takes a lot of controller calibration to dial this thing. I’m sure I’ll get it fully dialed in but I’ve just dealt with much easier

I’ve got a torque arm on there most definitely. It’s worked rock solid so far!

I went with the NB power 5000 kit. Came with the Sabvoton but I’m not a fan of the reliability of that controller. When it was working the power delivery was super smooth. There are just way too many of the same stories I had with the controller blowing after a few hundred miles. The Fardriver is more work and a bit more pricey but you can control just about everything and dial in your tune. The power increase is unbelievable

The Sabvoton is good to start if you know you plan on upgrading controller in very near future anyways

I’m not using my regen although I think it’s awesome that I can. I personally like to coast when I can and regen can introduce torque issues with your dropouts if you aren’t super careful. Plus another potential overheating issue to worry about.

Not much in the way of cargo carrying on this thing! There is a rack made for the bike but I hate the look and never need to carry more than what I can fit in a backpack

These bikes are definitely great for food delivery though! Good way to get your money back on the build too 😆

I noticed that too after the video. It’s my Fox rear shock singing. Apparently it’s a trait of the dpx2 out of the box. The mic picks it up pretty good but it’s almost unheard in real life

I appreciate that my dude! I’m aware of the limitations and pretty cautious about it. It’s hard to get ratings on some of these foreign tires. I know they’re made for mopeds so stronger than a traditional ebike tire definitely.For one you won’t catch me doing 70 on that thing very often. Ripping around town rarely calls for more than 50. Probably will replace these tires offseason with some moto tires. Trying to find ones everyone else isn’t using
