If you bring the alcohol lithium flame into the room solely lit by the tesla coil flame does it turn black like the sodium flame in a room lit with a low pressure sodium lamp? I'm guessing maybe not because of Stark / Zeeman shifts induced by the arc current and pressure broadening / Doppler broadening caused by its very high heat, but it would still be interesting to try out....
