The is any difference in accuracy in 32 acp vs 380 ?
@FNRifleman5 жыл бұрын
Recently picked one of these up after wanting one for years and I absolutely love it. What brand of ammo are you running? So far mine likes Fiocchi but i'd like to have some variety.
@PhoenixPhart5 жыл бұрын
Awesome! The Frommer Stop is my most favorite .32 ACP handgun I got; hope she serves you well. I've ran Fiocchi and PPU successfully but Aguila seems to be fairly down loaded and won't cycle the action reliably. Of course that depends on the strength of both of your recoil springs so you could try it anyway.

How do you think they held the bolt open like in the thumbnail of the C&Rsenal video on this pistol?
@PhoenixPhart5 жыл бұрын
They probably had an irregular magazine where the feed lips rides too high and stops the bolt

Hey I just inherited a Budapest frommer .32. I was given with it w-w .32 auto bullets will those fire or mess up the pistol? I'm a little confused any guidance will be appreciated.
@PhoenixPhart5 жыл бұрын
Congratulations! What do you mean "w-w"? If they're .32 ACP, the Stop should have no problem shooting them as it is originally chambered for 7.65 Frommer, a slightly more potent version of the .32 ACP
@billysmith25755 жыл бұрын
@@PhoenixPhart okay I see. The rounds I have have w-w above the primer and below it says .32 auto. My uncle said to ask one of those smart guys on the internet to figure out if those rounds can be fired out of the frommer stop. Lol
@Ni9994 жыл бұрын
I'm a year late but in case anyone else has the same question, the W-W headstamp means that it was made by Winchester-Western (Olin), East Alton, IL. It's not an indication of anything else. _Headstamp Codes - International Ammunition Association_ www.cartridgecollectors.org/headstampcodes BTW, from Wikipedia, "Other names for .380 ACP include .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, 9×17mm and 9 mm Browning Court (which is the C.I.P. designation)." .32 ACP likewise has 7 aliases, .32 Auto is one of them. ACP stands for automatic Colt pistol. Colt and Winchester each have a history of going out of their way to not use the other's name.

Are you shooting auto, or you pull the triger every time?
@PhoenixPhart3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I'm pulling the trigger every time; you can see it in the slow motion. The gun has a very short travel and reset that makes it fairly easy to get those speeds
@boce9913 жыл бұрын

I used to own one of these things! Found it in a random little hole-in-the-wall pawn shop for $30 in like 1997 (this and collecting vintage watches is why I always check the pawn shops; they have a bad rep and it's not always undeserved, but it's incredible how many super rare and cheap things you can find at pawns). Anyway it was a fun little plinker and I even carried it as a backup on rare occasions, until it got stolen a few years back. Just wish it had a hold-open... I miss it, but now I either can't find any for sale or the asking price is _way_ more than I can justify blowing on yet another old pistol.
@PhoenixPhart Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear it got stolen, the Frommer Stop is definitely my favorite .32 and I'll admit I've carried it as my primary a couple times too lol. I hope you can get one back too soon but its recent popularity might have made that impossible to find cheaply
