I lost my oldest daughter to Fentanyl. A parent should not have to say goodbye to their child at all, but especially in this manner. There is nothing that rips your heart out more than this. Thank you Sheriff Lamb for this series. Please keep them going.

As a parent i can't imagine what she is going through. I was a addicted to opiates for many years and lost many many friends to overdoses. I am 6 years clean and sober and so glad i made it out alive. Very sorry for your loss

Thank you, Sheriff Lamb. I'm a retired police officer and have personally known so many people who, through no fault of their own, became addicted to opiates. As if opiates aren't enough of a plague, fentanyl is like adding a nuclear bomb. I agree with you and your guest that fentanyl needs its own law with special penalties for distribution, along with help and compassion for people addicted.

I have a lot of respect for the videos the Pinal County Sheriffs office put out on youtube and love that they use their social media presence for good.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I hate death. I am a chronic pain patient, allergic to salicylates, who's taken Fentanyl safely for over 20 years, until the FDA started threatening physicians. I worked all those years at a very responsible job. Now, life isn't worth living. It's like alcohol doesn't make you drunk, neither does Fentanyl kill. It's making bad decisions and not giving the law the importance it should have.

Keep doing these videos please I live in Washington State & I work at a cemetery and I have a 31 year old young man who died from fentanyl poisoning & they are saying it’s an overdose! But it’s actually a poisoning!

I lost my oldest Son back in 2009 to the Opioid Epidemic so it was Oxy that made him commit Suicide. He was 23 and married with 2 kids and I knew something was wrong with him but he kept denying of any problems. By far the hardest thing to deal with everyday even though it's been 15 years as I think about him everyday. His kids are teenagers now and we help raising them. I even just bought my Grand Daughter her first new car and she is almost 18. But life moves on and you can't dwell on it forever even though it hurts. My wife and I will be married for 41 years in a couple of weeks and it didn't deter us when it happened. We have 5 grandkids now and one more on the way. Stay strong and live life to the fullest.

My children are in their 50s, theyvwere good clean kids because their family was with them in their youth, made them part of all aspects of responsibility , their mother Ronnie was a big big help.

I greatly respect the work you and Frank do Mark with your positive policing. This problem, though, is absolutely nothing to do with the border, though. If you want to stop all drug deaths, not just Fenny etc. Legalise all drugs, sell and regulate them. Puts the Cartels out of business... and eliminates the fake pills. A lot of places are doing it... And their crime and death rates have plummeted.

I lost my 19 year old son almost 4 years ago to fentanyl laced into cocaine. 300 people a day are dying of drug overdoses. Fentanyl responsible for >80% of these tragedies. Matthew was a twin. His brother suffers daily. I’m struggling every day and the pain is intense. To lose a child is the worse pain ever. My story is the same.

Do NOT keep your Narcan in the car, it can freeze AND it shouldn’t be left in extreme heat. Stay safe and smart everyone 💚💚

I am so sorry for your loss. I have experienced the loss of a friend of family who od'd and despite resuscitation efforts, he was already dead. It broke my heart as I did not want him to further addict my family member and didn't care for him, but he is human and as someone in the clinical field and ministry, I love and try to help the disenfranchised. Satan is at work but our Jesus Christ is there for us. Peace be with you my sister. I cannot imagine your grief but God does.

It's so sad to lose a child, no matter what the circumstances. It always surprises me that states are legalizing "gateway" drugs just for the monetary status. I don't care what your arguments are, they are gateway drugs. My GF's daughter started with joints and now is fully involved in drugs. The daughter was really doing amazingly well scholastically but then started hanging out with the wrong crowd in college. It was all downhill from there. She dropped out of college, started stealing from family and is lost today.

A friend of ours passed last July from Fentanyl. He was 67 and used drugs on and off for his entire life. His son told me that he “rolled the dice” with Fentanyl and lost…….😢.
