Who wins when the Feral Predator from Prey goes up against the Wolf Predator from AVP Requiem?
Will we have a repeat of the last time Feral fought a Wolf?
In the Red corner we have Feral
The Yautja from the movie Prey. He hunted Naru and the other Comanches as well as a Snake, Wolf, and even a Bear.
He is from a new species of Yautja, different from the Classics and Super Predators, with a rougher and more savage aura about him.
This until now unseen Yautja-type is a little less intelligent than others, but has a tough, rugged build, and took an insane amount of damage before being defeated, including being impaled through the torso, and shot in the back of the head.
He has a special Biomask unlike any other, crafted from the Skull of some sort of animal, it is speculated that it may be from a RiverGhost like in Predators.
Ferals weapons consist of Wristblades, a BoltGun, CombiStick, Razor Net, Wrist Shield, Cut-clamps, and Bombs.
Strengths:
The Feral Predator has thick, durable skin; and showed great physical strength, even by Yautja Standards, he also carried multiple weapons. Due to not wearing armour his movements are unrestricted.
Weaknesses:
Despite being able to take heavy amounts of damage, he has no armour for that added protection, his weapons are older and less advanced; he is also slightly less intelligent, and isn’t as stealthy as other Predators.
And in the Blue corner we have Wolf
From the movie Aliens vs Predator Requiem - Wolf is an Elite Predator, and member of the isolated clan who specialised in clean-up missions.
He alone was tasked with eradicating a Xenomorph infestation after a Scout Ship crashed due to a PredAlien that stowed away on-board.
He is a Classic Predator, and a battle-scarred veteran of the Yautja; being Elite in rank, he is among the most highly skilled and experienced of his clan, and could defeat even a Xenomorph Warrior with relative ease.
He wears light armour, offering a balance of manoeuvrability and protection. He is equipped with an advanced Biomask fitted with multiple vision modes, and can track different species from a sample of DNA.
Wolf’s weapons include WristBlades, Dual Plasmacasters, Smart Discs, Combistick, Razor Whip, Power Punch Glove, Dissolving Liquid, and Laser Mines.
Strengths:
Wolf is arguably the most deadly single Predator ever seen on screen, defeating what must have been over a dozen Xenomorphs, and fought the PredAlien, ending in a draw.
He displays incredible strength, and is intelligent and resourceful, utilising and even modifying his equipment to best fit the situation.
His light body armour grants him some protection, without restricting his manoeuvrability.
And lastly, he is equipped with a multitude of advanced weapons.
Weaknesses:
Like his opponent here, Wolf didn’t seem as stealthy as others of his kind, and was careless at times.
Last episode, we saw Feral take on and defeat Scar, but unbeknownst to the victor, just before he finished off his opponent, the YoungBlood sent out a distress call which was picked up by Wolf; the transmission shows his young clanmate was in battle with a Feral Predator which looks to have killed him.
The Elite Yautja gathers his equipment and sets course for the YoungBloods last known coordinates. The victorious Feral Predator takes the time to heal his wounds he sustained and retrieves his expended weapons, then continues his hunt where he left off.
Sometime later, Wolf’s ship reaches its destination, and he descends to the planet’s surface via Drop-pod.
After a short search he comes across the deceased Scar’s body - minus the head and spinal column; he begins to track the killer’s trail.
Wolf finds himself inside a cave system, and sees what he’s been looking for, and it’s what he thought it was from the message, a Feral Yautja, and a mean-looking one at that. It’s currently distracted preparing a trophy; A Yautja skull, the one from the dead Youngblood. It's not looked upon too favourably to kill a Youngblood whilst on their proving hunt, especially as this clan has exclusive hunting rights for this planet. Wolf is honour-bound to defeat this poacher.
Wolf sneaks around and plants laser mines covering every escape-route, in case this Feral tries to flee.
He then announces his presence, the loud roar echoing through the caverns.
Feral begins searching for who made the noise, and comes face to face with the Elite, Wolf activates the laser mines, and seals the two in a small section of cave; “nowhere to run”, thinks Wolf to himself. Feral grabs his BoltGun and aims at Wolf, but Wolf cracks his whip and it wraps round Feral’s ankle, he pulls back
and it knocks Feral off his feet, sending the BoltGun flying out of his hand.
