All cutscenes + the final bosses and ending for Episode Ardyn. This is the Japanese version. The choice at the end doesn't really matter much, the ending doesn't change. It just changes a short sequence before the ending, just pick whichever motivation you feel fits Ardyn best. I picked the top option and it gave me a beautiful long scream by Ardyn lol.
You unlock an outfit and sword for Noct in the main game.

Im sorry for Noct.. but Ardyn actually deserved so much his revenge. He was a good man but betrayed by everything he trusted the most. He is a very good villain.

I like both the japanese and english version of Ardyn and Somnus. Each has their own advantage.

I have to say I MUCH prefer the Japanese voice acting for Verstael over the English one. Both are great, but the Japanese one seems more realistic to the character while adding an ethereal quality that works so well.

People say this ending is canon but i personally believe the one he resisting fate is, since the last scene shows Ardyn is being hateful towards Somnus and Aera. If he submitted to fate shouldn't he be calmer or at least putting a painful smile? Then, if he is resisting fate and refuse to be a sacrificial lamb makes much more sense to the last dialog and that creepy smirk. He dying to noctis is just inevitable since that is his fate (which he denied). As such, human cannot fight against fate is proven.

Felix Sopowera Theyre both good in there own way. English voice actor makes Ardyn sound evil all the time, even when he is suppose to originally be a good guy when the Japanese is good at doing both.

Keiji Fujiwara is definitely better than Darin De Paul. The way how Ardyn's tone changes after what Somnus did is excellent.

I really like Darin de Paul too but Keiji Fujiwara is one of my fav VAs so I'm biased xD I love his tone as Ardyn better too, the character seems very different between the two languages (this goes for Noct too).

She’s not his wife, she’s the oracle of ardyn and somnus’ time. Somnus accidentally killed her when she tried to defend ardyn.
