when i thought of the "a primordial entity that predates the rise of civilization" i think of the primordial emotion of fear. Things like greed, agony, and lust, and dread, which the other demons represent, weren't really as strong in animals until humans came along. But fear is innate in animals. And since fiddlesticks feeds off fear, he might have existed before the other demons since his source of food is available before the other demons' food. And maybe he doesn't understand humans because he is used to feeding off of animals for such a long time and when humans came along, he had a hard time adapting, but despite being unable to adapt he could still instill fear in the victims so he ended up not needing to adapt anymore. It kinda explains the erratic, non-human movements he has instead of solely mimicking humans. It also explains the animal noises he mimicks, if he wanted to scare solely humans he would probably have learned by now to use human mimicry, but he still uses animal noises (theyre in his voice lines, like pigs and horses). He can feed off of fear from animals so he mimics the animals' cries to make other animals afraid, and since in civilization, people have farm animals like pigs and horses, he mimics those mainly. And I don't think they would put in the "first of ten" line for nothing. He was probably the first of 10 demons to come, since fear is an emotion embedded in every living being.

YO I JUST FOUND OUT!! Suprise Party Fiddlesticks has an interaction with Zoe that says: "Nice key you got there, twilight. Didn't steal it from someone dangerous, did you?" Which clearly makes Necrit's theory about the key that Zoe has and it might be related :v

Fiddlesticks also says: "Fiddlesticks End of Men, Fiddlesticks first of ten", so maybe there are 10 demons?

to me it sounded like: Soldier: Tedric? Fiddlesticks: Not, Tedric. He kills the soldier. Fiddlesticks: Fiddle...Sticks... He Corrects the soldier's claim

Remember that the "Uncanny Valley" is a tatic to make people feel uncomfortable and almost fear people that look almost human but not quite. Fiddlesticks might be using this to his advantage to sort of 'prepare' people for their demise with as much fear as possible. He strikes in the shadows, and appears in places where it is already dark and ominous because its where Fiddlesticks can terrify people to the extreme. Intentionally preying on the weak and vulnerable instead of Demacian Elites because although he may be able to fight them, they do not give as much emotional energy then terrified citizens and weak soldiers. It is entirely possible that Fiddlesticks knows what he is doing, and is trying to make himself as terrifying as possible by simply being 'almost' humanoid and 'almost' sentient.

I think that he is indeed as old and experienced as Evelynn, but he stopped evolving to try and look like humans when he was still inexperienced, because the shape he had was enough to scare people. Evelynn needs to be as humanoid and attractive as possible in order for her victims to fall for her but fiddlesticks doesn't, in fact it is better for him to be off looking because that is what people fear the most.

What if fiddle seems inexperienced not because he’s “younger” but because of what he feeds on, fear. Since he can easily induce fear just by his demonic appearance he doesn’t need to take on a physical form or characteristics catered to a specific purpose like Tahm and especially Evelyn whose feed on more complex emotions like greed and lust.

For the summoning circle: the lower right symbol looks like a lantern or cage. The center symbol could be a bizzare key. The line about fiddle being older than civilization could mean he's as old as the Aspects. The original demon that's part of fiddle and swain could have originally been an Aspect of darkness or dark magic that the Aspect of Twilight broke into separate pieces to prevent large scale destruction, since the Aspects of Twilight seem to specialize in containment of things that threaten the safety of the Aspects (the Darkin were sealed away possibly because they can kill Aspects without killing the host, preventing reincarnation and revealing a true death for celestial beings). It would also possibly explain why there's no evil Aspects mentioned so far in Targon lore: the evil or dark Aspect is incapable of possessing a host because it's not whole but also not dead and has been in that state for a very long while. The next demonic champion might not be wholly demonic, instead it might be a person with demon-like powers using an item housing a demon as an arcane focus that is mistaken for being a Darkin, when it actually houses what ever remains of the original demon (with fiddle being the body and swain possessing the eyes). That person would probably have a drain of some kind, since both fiddle and swain have a drain in their kits, as well as a crow aesthetic. Zoe's key might either unlock the cage housing the remains of the demon Aspect or at least reveal a way for it to merge as one with the summoning circle actually being an alchemical style transmutation process. The original aspect might have had a shadowy, crow-like body and control over dark magic or life essence. TLDR: Demon in swain and fiddle could be an evil Aspect that Twilight locked away and separated, with a third champion having a container of some kind housing the last bit and Zoe's key unlocking it. Possibly an Aspect of dark magic or life-essence with a crow-like body.

One of Fiddlesticks’ voice lines says that Fiddlesticks is the first of ten demons in Runeterra. We know 5: Fiddlesticks, Tahm Kench, Evelynn, Nocturne and Swains raven demon. He is the oldest of them all, and I think Tahm Kench is the 2nd oldest since they both have a lot of information about other Champions and that is shown in their voice lines/interactions.

This makes him especially more terrifying because well....we dont know exactly what he is, we can speculate and theorize it but we dont know %100 and thats why i love his champ design and lore

Fiddlesticks uses his “body” as a puppet. All of his skins are cannon because he tries to blend in to the different regions of runeterra. He likes to mimic his surroundings. He mimics the voices of his prey. Also, when he says he’s the first of ten, he’s implying that he’s the most ancient of the demons. He feeds off of fear, which is the most basic and primal emotion. The other emotions that other demons feed off of only arose when civilizations arose.

I always thought Fiddle's crows was a reference to him being a scarecrow.

The demonic summoning circle reminds me a lot of an old movie called “Nine” (as in the number) where the main characters are puppets and of one main keys in the movie it’s a some kind of device that looks alike the circle. Maybe I’m just crazy 🤷‍♂️

The summoning circle theory really makes sense tbh. The 'Eye' belongs to Swain, the lower left 'Figure' belongs to Fiddle, while the lower right looks like a scissor of some sort. I'd say it Noc's blades. (EDIT: I said Noc's blade without explanation. Wha I meant was "It LOOKED like Noc's blade. Misunderstandings.)

I don't think that demon was fiddlesticks but I think the demon inside of the immortal bastion and fiddlesticks are related. Maybe they are the same "species" of demon. The similarities between fiddle and swain are definitely there. Also fiddlesticks has a voiceline when interacting with swain where he says "RAUM...". Raum could be the name of the demon Swain made his bargain with, and possibly a future champion (i hope)

Now that his voice has been released it's confirmed that fiddlesticks is "the first of ten" so that either means that he is the oldest known primordial demon out of only 10(like a 4 horesmen of apocalypse in the world of runeterra) or there are more creatures like him, and he also reveals that Swain's demon is named Raum

i found something interesting when i played league a while ago. when i was pinging our maokai (my friend) for fun half way through my barrage of pings it didn't show the usual "maokai: Alive" ping it showed "Shiol: Alive" i think riot messed up their code and i found the new champ's name. Edit: not really sure if the name really was shiol i just knew it's name had an "shi" in it (didn't pay too much attention because we we all pinged maokai with question marks and alive pings) so maybe the name was inaccurate
