Matt, here's something that might help your aiming for the fish. Water bends the light of the objects we see under water. So when we see that fish, it's actual location is a bit lower than what we see. Try aiming for the bottom of the fish. Odds are you will hit them square in the side or a little high. Google light refraction in water for some really good illustrations on this. I love your videos. Keep up the great content.

Fire cooking, Best burger I've ever had!! It's been round 30 years ago now, I was around 13 years old. My best friend and I packed a lunch of everything we needed to cook hamburgers for our day out fishing and exploring. We went to a little campground nearby. We ended up having to pay for a campsite just to hang out for the day. We got the cheapest one. We fished, swam, and goofed off for a few hours till lunch. When we went to cook, we realized we had nothing to cook on. The cheap spot only had a fire pit (some had old style metal grills). So we started a decent fire in the fire pit.. We found a big flat rock, I put that in on the hot coals and fire. Once it heated up, I swear I cooked the best damn burgers I've ever eaten. Childhood memories...

So just a tip I picked up in Florida, experience with stone crab more specifically. As long as the last knuckle before the carapace is intact, they will regrow. I don't know the speed off hand for these guys, but stone crab claws at about a quarter pound to about a half a pound of claw meat, tke about 3 years to get back up to full size.
