Hi! I'm an oil painter. However, my drawing skills are poop. Lol. I've been waiting for the right time to apply myself to the task of sitting down with paper and pencil. I'm always painting. Still, I watch you and love how you are able to teach complex skills in a way that is accessible. It takes a lot of fear out of drawing, and makes it seem that it's possible to learn to draw!

This is the first time I have understood the mechanics of drawing a person. It actually makes sense to me. I have watched so many artists explain with so much technical measurements and anatomy etc. You broke it down to common sense understanding. Thank you so very much.

I can't see how you would get any bad reviews. From someone who couldn't even draw a stick figure, you're a greeeeeeeeeeat teacher. I actually drew a horse head without tracing; I used your pencil measuring trick. Amaziiing! All these years I was hard on myself. Thank you so much!!

This was exactly what I needed to hear. So for me, this is perfect, thanks ❤ I tend to get lost in the details before I have an outline, or in this case rather, an inline lol But you’ve shown that it really helps out with proportions and more So sorry to hear you’ve received a lot of hate, you can’t please everyone but that doesn’t get the sting out of those comments. Congrats on the extra members though, that’s the important bit! Yesterday was a sewing day for me, though at the start, I was disoriented and couldn’t organize but I got there in the end and mended some clothes and pillowcase and made some practical things and made good progress of some recycling pj’s and an easy summerdress without a pattern out of that lightweight cotton fabric used for baby nappies
