Their first, Sicario, is a 2015 American crime-thriller drama film starring Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin in which an idealistic FBI agent Emily Blunt is enlisted in a secret CIA op to bring down the head of a brutal Mexican drug cartel. Arrival is a 2016 American psychological science fiction film based on the 1998 short story "Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker. The first male Bene Gesserit, that’s what the Kwisatz-Haderach is. I hadn’t understood this until it’s so clearly stated in this official video on the Ladies with the WeirdingWays.

Well, it's a little more complicated than that. In the first book the Reverend Mother tells Paul that he's not the first male with Bene Gesserit training, it's just that no male had enough self-control to pass the Gom Jabbar test before. And then within the span of a few years Feyd Rautha (who was originally intended to conceive the Kwisatz-Haderach along with a female Paul) overcomes the test too. So technically there were two male Bene Gesserit at the same time, it's just that one awakened and survived and the other didn't.

@@jorgeporras9262 there are Bene Gesserit trained people, and there are Reverend Mothers who have survived the water of life and unlocked their ancestral (or “other”) memory. The Gom Jabbar test is not what makes a Bene Gesserit, and there’s no indication that Paul/Fayd were the first males to ever survive it. Paul is, however, the first male to ever survive the water of life/spice agony and unlock the male line of ancestral memory.

@@qwerty81808 you are correct in that first and last point, but I never mentioned Reverend Mothers or the water of life, and never disagreed about that. Also about the second point, Reverend Mother Mohiam implies he's the first one to pass the Gom Jabar test since she says the other men died.

There will be a Bene Gesserit series later this year on HBO with Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, several other big names. It has been in development since the Dune movie which I assume is why Dune 2 did not go into details about the order. Denis Villeneuve was originally to direct the first 2 episodes but the movies took too much of his time.

In the third Dune book, it was mentioned that the Bene Geserit considered themselves as science of religion. Meaning they are scientists experimenting on religion to create the one true mind. In our world, the prophets of Judaism, Christian, and Islam (except Muhammad), were all came from one bloodline: the Israelites or Bani Israel. The Bene Geserit are basically trying to recreate this bloodline by feeding people with faith, in order to bring the Kwizats Haderach. But they had more than one bloodline, in case one failed.

But Muhammad was a descendant from Ishaq's brother, Ismail, which made Muhammad not a Bani Israel. One of the reason why Christian doesn't believe in the prophetic signs of Muhammad, even claimed him as a false prophet, is because Muhammad was not a Bani Israel
