This is how EVERY parent should handle this. Your child shouldnt ever be scared to come talk to you about a something so important in their life out of fear of your reaction. I want my kids happy and healthy, thats it. The rest we will work it out.

look at the moment when he told his father he was gay , his father , like all fathers know when there son is scared and nervous , parents know there children's facial expressions and immediately his father said it's OK and then gave him a hug that he proberly haven't done in a while , this may not have been emotional like other coming out videos but somehow I though this was one of the best , good luck to u

Lovely moment @0:30 When son feeling little vulnerable and unsure - Dad does just the right thing. Reassuring "It's ok" and straight in for the hug. Son will treasure that!

in this case I think that the son would have shone more compassion to the father instead of kinda daring him that the cameras were rolling. Too much measuring him verses accepting his feelings of love. A seemingly dissapointment for the son.....

Cool moment , but this is one gigantic cringe moment! I love my kids! But I don’t know how I would process something like this! I will always love my kids no matter what! I just don’t know ........... It would be a massive kick to the gut!
