If you are struggling read this~ I know I’m young but I would just like to say that, In 7th grade I was in a very dark place. I couldn’t feel much emotion and I had thoughts of revenge and the other things. But God saved me, he gave me the people in my life and he showed himself to me. Even in my darkest days he was there with me, he never left me. One day while I was in bed I started to pray with my hand to the sky and I felt something holding my hand. At that very moment I knew it was him. I repent of all of the sins I have committed. I am ready to begin a new life with him. There is still time to repent love one another and believe in Christ for he will forgive you❤️ He helped me in hard and he will help you too:). Just pray!

but Tai Lung and Feng Huang both studied at the Jade Palace which means that Master Oogway was able to observe them change and become evil while Ding just like you said he was sent to an order of Monk's to train meaning Master Oogway didn't see him change and become evil

@@amjadm7730 but I never said that Tai Lung was evil. I only used the word evil because it was the word used in the video. To me Tai Lung is more of a broken glass, because his master made him believed in a destiny that was not his. ( FYI: think before you reply😊 )

And so becomes a competition of just being better than anyone in exchange of being his true self…he was never able to control rejection, what if rejection came in his path as a dragon warrior, would he had taken his dissolution on the population as well?

And if somebody was "turning evil" before your eyes, and you're a wise powerful man, what should you do? That was the point of this video. Oogway chose violence in dealing with evil, and pushed them to become more evil, rather than showing kindness and patience and guidance to a better path.

One of the reasons I got so into the theory channels is because MatPat's voice was just so good for background noise for my adhd brain. I was slightly worried the new hosts wouldn't match the same vibe for me, but so far, Lee and Tom have been awesome! MatPat made some great choices, and we're so lucky to have you guys as our new hosts

So basically, Oogway's Teaching is similar to the Jedi in the prequel films: Fear the dark side so much that even a sliver of it is unacceptable; to the point where redemption from the darkness isn't possible. And we all remember how well the Jedi Order went following that doctrine.

I’d disagree with that idea. If you watched the origins of the furious five stories and the story of the three masters - Oogway was never very similar to the Jedi at all. Especially for what he foresaw in Po during the first film. Po wasn’t treated the same way Anakin was. It’s even confirmed in the third film when Po reunited with him in the spirit realm. “A way to unite the past and the present- to begin anew”. Even foreshadowed when he talked to Po at the Peach tree.

Honestly? Lee did a GREAT job here! I love kind of his more subdued take on Matpat's formula and I think he really fits Film Theory as a whole. Can't wait for more episodes with him! Especially on darker series like whenever Man in the Suit comes back!

really solid first "non matpat" episode. Probably my favorite. Your VO voice is really good and compelling to listen to! I'll be honest, I was a bit worried about this transition. But this episode was like a classic film theory and I enjoyed it alot! Good job!

I was introduced to game theory when I was in middle school by a friend.. I’ve been here though all the new channels and now I’m 25 married with 2 kids. Definitely sucks seeing Mat go but it makes sense- dudes going out when everything is doing good which is smart and now I’m sitting here on my break at work and here I am 17:23 minutes later and Lee, you got this I don’t really comment on anything but I’ll gladly do it if there’s a chance you see this and know that I can speak for the couple dozen people I know who watch everything the theorist put out and have for the last decade- naturally we were worried but good to know film theory has a very promising host🙏 amazing video

The quote was cut short. It is actually "Noodles? Don't Noodles" Meaning it's more of a "who knows what the correct choice is, or even if there is one" lesson. Cutting it short to make it sound like gibberish was very disingenuos.

But this doesen´t justify his first solo entry to be a aggalamation of misconstructions of what happens, or blatant lies (like the manipulative cut when Po speaks about the hoplesness of training the panda childs, and Oogway responds with pointing out Po`s hypocricy, THE EXACT same argument Lee then proceeds to make. but cuts out deliberately to manipulate).

13:27 to be Fair, Kung Fu is about the person themselves fighting, it's not a Robot battle. That was a Sensible Gatekeep. I would have kept them as the Obstacle Engineer and continued training them so that both they and thier Machines got better since understanding movement is half the battle in learning any martial arts.
