I really appreciate the accuracy that the Final Fantasy series has with mythology. A lot of games will only get one or two things right but the FF series tries to be as accurate as possible

So much of ancient history and mythology was first exposed to me through FFXI. It was funny how I thought there were misspellings due to the way some "english" sounding names were spelled. Sturmwind; didn't know it's a German word/spelling. Saw it while playing beta, and sent a "bug" message. Nope. I'm just a tard who knows nothing of the world XD

I learned so much classical history and mythology reading the source inspirations of various weapons and beasts in ff11 than I did in school.
