In this video I give my final thought on A Stranger In The Kingdom by Howard Frank Mosher. This is a historical fiction / mystery. It's of a small VT town in Kingdom County during the 1950's. When a new minister to the local church is thought to be a murderer. But do the fact point to him as the murderer or is it that he just happens to be the only black man in this small town?

A four star read! Awesome! Movin' on up🎵Loving the Bible verses. Joshua 1:9 is one of my favorites. Along with 2 Thess. 3:3 and 2 Tim. 1:7. Glad you're already better, up and about! Praise God. Prayer is powerful!

Amen! Prayer is power... taking me a long time to start understanding this but I'm getting there. :) Yeah a 4 star... I'm trying to practice with them so when I review yours I can give it a 4.5 :) LOL I brake out in hives when I give anything higher than a 4.0 :) Yeah I really like this verse as well. Yes it is pretty much back to normal... I enjoyed it and I think I'm going to see if I can find the movie and see if it's anything like the book.

Good to see you (or not really see you) back to posting. Yeah, slow starting books can sometimes end with a nice big bang. Weather and cemetery looks nice. I've been down with a medical issue since April 14. I filmed a video I was going to post and as I hit the pause button I realized that for the whole 22 minutes of recording, I wasn't even recording. Very frustrating. The book sounds like an interesting read. Oh, the statue of Mary? That was a nice shot. _James

Thanks... yeah the foot feels better... not sure what happen but I'm glad to be back to normal. I will add you to my prayer list... I'm noticing this list is getting bigger everyday... Lots of people struggling with different things... I saw a short you had about it not being on... that is a bummer. I haven't had that happen... YET... lol I know it will someday. I actually took a really nice picture of the statue and wanted to make it my thumbnail but I couldn't make it work right so I used this one instead.

It was a good read. Foot is almost 100%. I wouldn't play basketball on it but I can at least walk now without walking on my toes. LOL Saw you got a shoutout yesterday!!! That was great!

I love the set-up of your videos, which I think I have told you before. The Bible verse, and the walk-throughs. Cemetery...good memento mori and a way to honor those who have passed before us. Story sounds interesting but I'll probably never read the book tbh, unless one day I broaden my horizons.

Thanks for that! I always enjoy hearing people say they like the verse and the cemeteries seem to be a favorite of everyone's. Interesting thought just occurred to me when I started this channel I thought it would be great to converse with like minded people and that has been the case. But I'm noticing more and more the channels I like (not all) are channels I wouldn't have watched before doing this. A good chunk of the stuff people read I will probably never pick up but I enjoy the person and don't really care what they are reading. Where as before I enjoyed the person but it was pretty much only things I would read. Anyways I thought that was interesting. Have a good day! Sun is out and God is good.

I might have seen that movie! The plot sounded really familiar - then when you mentioned Martin Sheen, it clicked! Sounds like a good book - I'm going to keep an eye out for it!

you know, that verse spoke to me, i didnt know i needed it today, but i did im intrigued by this book, hmmm, im thinking of adding it picture me with furrowed brow and narrowed eyes pondering, stroking my chin ok, you sold me on it

I'm glad the verse spoke to you... It's a very powerful verse. Eyes narrowing... leaning into monitor as I read your comment... what?!?! Eyes wide open... can it be... something I talked about made someone actually "might" want to read it. Eyes continue to be wide open... astonished... exasperated... thrilled... shocked... now wondering if I spelled the first 2 words correctly.... losing my train of thought... what was I just thinking?
