Congrats on a classic stunner. When I wear mine, it feels like I'm wearing a relic from King Tut's tomb. I love how it changes in different light settings. I enjoy wearing it, over the SS Sub. Mainly because it feels and looks more like a luxury timepiece. Enjoy it man, she sings in the sun.

Can’t beat a Bluesy! It’s fun having a bracelet that you admire as much as the actual dial. The clasp is long but catches the light very nicely in the sunlight and just looks great. I’ll hold off selling my steel Sub - that one’s been in too many adventures over the years and it’s nice having both new and old ceramic variants of this piece. The Sub Date is the iconic Rolex.

Congratulations! Nice acquisition. I own a 40 mm version and love it. Use it everyday actually and not feel extra attention due to this watch honestly. And it doesn't feel blinky at all after you wear it for a while - just a regular watch)) Cannot justfy and don't feel the need to upgrade to a 41 mm version though. Cheers!

I have one as well Chris. Here in Dubai the dial comes alive in the sunshine. Once you’ve worn it a few times you will feel less conscious about the bling factor. Congratulations!

Beautiful watch!. I also think the white text on the dial is a lot nicer. It brightens the dial and makes it fresh!. Best 2 tone Rolex makes and that blue dial is glorious!. I also like the thick clasp and wider bracelet: it centers the watch and balances it perfectly. Wear it in good health!!!

Fwiw I was just reading the Goldmans report on watches of Switzerland H1 results publish Dec 9th. Here was a little quote that stood out to me : “supply outlook : while industry commentary suggests tight supply of Rolex, WoS underwent a Rolex restocking exercise in 1H and the company has confirmed that it is well stocked into the holiday period.” Maybe a few others will get lucky in the next few weeks and months… probably in areas of expansion like Europe and u.s

Congrats Chris, the 41mn is the return of the pre- ceramic sub. Never liked the 40mm to be honest but the better bracelet and ceramic insert were a must for me. When the 41mm came out, sold the 40mm in steel, had to get the slimmer lugs. Despite the fact that I love two tone watches, I opt for one color, steel, w/y/r gold or platinum. In my mind the watch has to match the wedding ring, no tone wedding ring for me:) Don't let me mess your head, it's a lovely watch, especially in blue, amazing for summer. The clasp is giant but not a problem even on baby wrists. It is a little comical that between the watch head and clasp there isn't much "bracelet".

I love the watch. But not sure I should get it as my first Rolex. Maybe second. I need something more low key like a black sub or explorer 2.

My wrist is 5 3/4 inches and the clasp takes up my entire wrist but everyone loves it on me and it’s completely comfortable.

The previous 40mm Bluesy had yellow/gold lettering on its dial face. The new 41mm Bluesy has all white lettering on its dial face. Also the new Bluesy has the Rolex Crown just below the 6 o'clock bar located right between the words SWISS MADE. The older model does not.

Ok here’s a tough one for you. You could only buy one. The Bluesy Submariner or the Batman GMT on Jubilee? I had my mind set on the Batman for my next piece and made the mistake of trying on the Bluesy. Holy cow! I have 4 other all steel models. Got my wheels spinning for sure!

I’m so upset dude I am new to rolexes I don’t know too much but I do know I recently got ripped off for mine… (it was my fault I should’ve done more research) but my grandfather gifted me his 1998 Rolex sub 16613 I ws in need of quick cash so I decided to sell it I was asking 7k… my watch did need some repair the date could not be set and if u shook it there was a rattle in the watch… well someone came to look at it and he convinces me it was in rough shape…. Which it wasn’t the date and the rattle was the only problem long story short he convinced me that it was only worth around $2k that’s what I sold it to him for…. Box papers everything I later was told by many people that I should not have even considered any less then 6k and maybe up to 9k I sold a 1998 Rolex submariner for $2k….

Even after the market crashed Rolex reps will still rush a two tone dj to the safe for their “vip”
