Looks like you've had an issue. The video ends at 11:48 but then is extended by a black screen to 14:35.

One reason it was so bad is because WG nerfed it within one patch cycle if I remember correctly was because people were spamming HEAT so much that it was called the HEAT69. So just like the derp 105 on the M4s and Pz IV, WG's amazing balancing department instead of just nerfing speshul ammo they also nerfed gun handling and other aspects.

Going up a tier has not been about learning for at least five years. Going up a tier is about spending time as cannon fodder in a tank that is not competitive against other tanks of it's own tier for a while and then either leaving it behind to plunge forward another tier (and do it again), or continue to fight it against more popular (premium) tanks of the same tier that will always be objectively better tanks.

I specifically went down this line to get to the t54e1 so I could use it to do the medium tank mission 15 for the t55a. Then a month after I got it they changed it to a heavy tank...

T69 went from 169mm pen to 181mm pen then 200mm pen. This shows how bad wargaming is at balancing its game. QB pls stream Elden Ring, I want to see you dodging the water sushi dance and playing the DLC.

You had an expert Tiger-Maus Playing too. Havn't played in almost 6 months since I've been moving, job hunting, and life in general, but the Tiger-Maus is one of the best tanks for me TBH

It does not suck, I bought it about 6 to 8 months ago. I have played about 100 games in it. I am currently holding over 50% win ratio. But, it is a bit of a struggle to keep the wins up there.

Why couldn't they just replace the T77 inside the tech tree tank while the T69 should be a premium tier 8 like the Lorrain 40t

I'm already working up the t57 line so it's nice to know that I wouldn't hate my life as much as I thought I was going to once I get to the t69.

It’s a nice assassin. I always either got 3000+ damage or 0 damage. Almost no in between. Maybe 2-3 3000+ games for every 0 game so pretty good overall

This tank.... was a grind. I'm happy to have my T57 HEavy now, and was not looking forward to playing this one again. I'm amazed at that ricochet from the SU-130PM's premium round. If that was me, it was game over, back to the garage.

Loved this tank when I started playing it, was my first auto-loader. now its even better.

In the end (after the buffs), I prefer playing the T69 to his bigger brother the T54E1. The fact that you lose medium camo and mobility is such a big deal

I've always liked the T69, quick burst, quick reload, that so deadly when you can catch enemies

I had fun grinding through this T69 back in the day one of his first introduced to decade to go but had to spam gold. It was fun. But power creep very quickly made it not fun. Mine has been sitting in the garage for 10 years not being used

I would say the T69 hasn't been buffed enough. It could use some more mobility like a 600HP engine or make its ground resistance better so the tank can get up to speed faster. Every time I take this tank out it feels sluggishly slow.

Oh. I need to dust off my T69 and try it out along with the now T54E1 HT 😅

As a relatively f2p player I dont have much t8 prems to play frontline, so If I cant use any this is the tank I pick till they can respawn

I personally prefer to use Experimental Mobility instead of aiming. No point in being accurate if you can’t aim all the way. Plus the experimental turbo gives you great mobility. I’ve always been a staunch defender of this tank, one of my better vehicles.

The biggest thing about this buff is that the grind from hell to get the T57 Heavy is no longer painful as all hell. I HATED the grind through the T69!

I don’t like the T57 so much but the T69 and T54E1 r fun to play just by themselves sometimes 🙂

Honestly, it wasn't too bad pre-buff. I bought the T69 over two years ago, and was doing consistently well in it even before the buffs. I think it largely depends on what you want to achieve with it. I use it as a passive scout tank/second-line support. Love this tank, and I'm so glad I spent all the time before I got it to have a dedicated crew leveled up just for that tank.

One might think that Wargaming would have seen that the T69 was hardly ever being played and do something about that. Nah . . . it's only a free-to-play Tech Tree tank, and game balance isn't a priority, right?

How about featuring the T25 Pilot and make WG to give it some love ?

T69 was my most fun tank to play for years.

When I was researching the T57 line I thought the 69 was one of the better vehicles. I enjoyed it quite a bit. That was long before it was 'buffed'.

Maybe I am just weird but I do enjoyed playing t69 ten years ago and I dont use gold ammo. I like to play using only regular ammos just to have the satisfaction dealing damage to tier ten tanks.

The correct playstyle for T69 has always been to skip it.

i love the game play. but i do it in the T77. not the most competitive, but fun for me to play. every one knows and fear the T57 Heavy on the enemy team. but the hole enemy team forgets my T77. and that for me is the biggest differents tier for tier between the two.

(not so random question): How do I get spotting (assist damage)? Years ago I could stand in a bush and racking up the assist. 1. Many sniper positions have vanished, because of uneven terrain. I've tried being near the middle, and even between middle and own base. It seems like getting 1000 assist is almost a bonus. (need 3k assist/damage for final light mission). Would prefer a light tank Tier 5-7 if possible - and tried most of them. 2. Either my team mates don't shoot, or... the enemy decide to go that flank, where we are overrun. I have never in my years in WoT, have such hard time closing an "easy" mission.

I always loved the T69, I mean sure the pen was bad. medium to close range and the bloom after firing was fine. played 70 games and 3rd marked it. I really hated the T54E1 that was the one I skipped to get the T57.

I don't understand why WG doesn't do more tweaks more often - it is obvious to the player base that some tanks are just too strong or too weak in various areas, but it takes WG months or years to do something about it. If a tank does too well or too bad for 2 months make a small change. Rinse and repeat!

Made profits with a paid for boost. I know you can get some free days right now, but it's not always that way.

I do keep T69 since it's really good and the only USA tech-tree auto-loader medium (for now) but I havn't play it for a while because it's not profitable after all

T69 and TVP VTU are still horrible to grind, especially f2p. With the T8 power creep these tanks just feel like playing a Tier 7. Playing this game many years now, it just hurts that some tech tree vehicles are completely forgotten, nearly unplayable in some cases. All this just intensifies with more and more T8 premium power creep loot box made-up tanks. At least they gave the T69 a little buff, still feels very mediocre

T69 was a fun grind but over 1200 battles in the gsor 1008 maxed elite system,full prem and still make profits, meanwile t'54mod 1 has the t69 old pen, sad,, i don't touch anything under 200pen in tier 8 ,this is how fun the game used to be , all my fav tanks rusted

bigest problem of this tank is alpha.moustly u hit 2 from 4 and eat lot of dmg while tying to hit all your 4 shells.need to much time to unload mag.buf alpha and take 1 shell out off mag cud fix this.

Controversial: It never sucked. It just required more investment than most wanted to put into it. You also had to kit it with specific equipment. Power creep is the only thing it suffered from. This is an opinion I know that most didn't share- but it was mine.

This game still made the tank look terrible tbh, just seems like you were in a good position and had alot of tanks in the open so got alot of free damage.

Figures, I was leveling to get the 54. I marked it, incidentally, sold it and now it gets a much-needed buff. WG, middle finger for you. Also, I have a dreadful IS-6 for which I paid money. Along with other premium tanks like the Chinese T-34 that need attention.

Wish I had your ping. There could be so much fun I could have had. Because of the delay, I become just another seal to be clubbed when in INSANE two tier up matches. MM should be: one tier up or down with Preferential the same tier. Easy. Far more fair. Now, they take away all the grinding I did for my crews....WITHOUT FAIR COMPENSATION. Training books? Unless these books train up the skill ALL THE WAY, it is just plain theft. My hope is more will stop playing this game and spending money so they will stop the Pay For NOT Play scheme they have going. How gullible I have been....
