I got my testosterone results today and it's 21.36 nmol/L, i am 29 not really active nowadays, but gonna start doing some sport. Matt can you please confirm whether Finasteride has any effect on total cholesterol level? Cause after being under finasteride for 6 months my total cholesterol has increased. My testosterone level is fine and so is estradiol. Testosterone: 580 ng/dl Estradiol: 31.1 pg/dl

I have been on finasteride for more than 10 years. During these years, I have checked all my hormones. My only problem was the high level of Prolactin. I am not sure that it was because of taking finasteride.

My estrogen is normal, but I do have very low Testosterone as an obese person. Finasteride did not effect my sexuality. Hopefully it helps my testosterone too.

I used finasteride for a year. I stopped because it should down my libido. Stoped fin 3 months ago and libido is still at 0. It sucks.

Propecia actually boosts your testosterone as it lowers estrogen but the increase in testosterone isn't enough to have any real effects. I feel like their is a huge mental part to taking Propecia

So before starting fin, it is best to have: High Testosterone levels Slightly lower than average Oestradiol levels What about the other two tests the website does? i.e. prolactin levels and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)? Is it best to have low or high levels of these in your blood?

I disagree with the first point. Extremely built compared to most people which I’d say indicates better than low test. Minimal sides started and i quit that shit. So you have no clue.

After starting finasteride I see some changes and I don’t like any of them. It has affected me negatively

I was 18 when I tried finasteride for hair loss and after just ONE pill I got side effects. Got my testosterone checked a few days later and it was 960 ng/dl. Checked it again after a few weeks and it was around 700ng/dl. So nothing wrong with my testosterone levels. It took over a year for me to start to feel normal again and get my dick working okay. Way too risky in my opinion because if you get fucked up, nobody can help you. The doctors doesn't know shit about how these things work, let alone how to fix your problems caused by this drug. I'm glad I didn't get the whole myriad of cognitive impairments some people claim to get.

I have high testosterone but when i took finasteride my semen became very runny. Not good sign. Stopped it right away. Took kuke 2-3 montgs to normalize

i was already on medication that lowers testosterone and s drive. when i started finasteride, i am not like impotent or anthing but i can tell the difference, it is worrying. i think might be producing less semen too.

Hey Matt There's a KZfaqr named max He kind of looks like a fitness model His body fat percentage is definitely lower than 15% but still he got side effects like gyno.. So we can not be 100% sure that lower body fat percentage can help u in getting less side effects... In his recent video he said he has started using topical finastride combined with lower dosage of finastride So let's see how that goes Btw very informative video as always from your side Keep growing ❤️😊

Testosterone wise im very very high ( body full of hair , strong facial features, naturally strong body and super libido... doing 3-4 times in a row with my gf for 4 hours straight no show off haha) Estradiol levels are probably very low because i started growing way before everyone my age, I was already twice their size at 14 with a beard 😂, and I dont have any feminine traits physically. Fitness wise, used to be at 8% two years ago when I was still 65kg for 1m81, now im 75kg for 1m81 ( stopped any sports ) but last time i checked on my scale ( 2 weeks ago) I was between 14%-15%, i guess i ll have to do something about this soon. Im 21 years old and have had hair thinning on the crown for 4 years now. On the front im a norwood 1.5. Hair thinning is not so bad that I cant hide it with a good haircut So I hope finasteride + Minoxidil foam + dermaroller will heal this fking decease 😂
