FINISHING a SIMPLE Off Grid Bathroom | Ep. 3 | One of a Kind Water Can Shower, Stone Floors, Septic

Finished up the bathroom with stone floor, which all stones came from my creek. Had left over metal roofing and used that for the shower walls. Built a cement shower pan using PVC shower liner and cement.
Designed a hinge mechanism to hold the watering can for a one of a kind gravity flow water can shower.

Enjoy the show. If the watering can doesn't work out for you then the best system is right under your kitchen sink. That two gallon sprayer if hooked up to the shower head can't be beat for off grid showers. Think about it. I just watched a off gridder in Alaska hook one up today. He looked happy with it. I've been sending these episodes of your build to my son. I've told him that I'd go in half with him. I'd do most of my cabin camping in the fall and winter. His wife gets cold easy. Take care. Being you are using electricity you can get a 12vt pump to run your shower with. Use a 10 to 15 gal tank on your stove or a copper coil system to to feed the tank and pump it to the shower head. No need to lift a watering can overhead .

Bush Radical channel put a metal garden sprayer for a shower. It's metal, holds a couple 2-3 gallons of water. Ran the hose up to the shower, put a shower head with cut off switch on. Now he just fills it up with warm water, and pumps it up for water pressure. It's in the video of the shower house at his Alaska cabin.

ive been wondering about that creek that passes thru your property. Does it come from elevation? If it does you could use it to generate electricity by running a pipe with tapering diameter from the high point to the camp. It can generate enough water pressure to power a waterwheel or gravity fall generator. Its consistent power even at night and just takes a long pipe and something to generate electricty off that water pressure. Saw an Australia homestead youtuber that did this to take advantage of a pretty small creek on his property. His used a converted washing machine motor and drum to catch the stream and power an inverter that charged his batterybank.

It's a 2.5 gallon water can and gives plenty of water for a shower. It can be put on a stove and heated, then moved easily. A 5 gallon bucket not so much... Thanks for watching 👍
