This land got its name, “Tierra del Fuego” from the first settlers who upon arrival observed that indigenous peoples had already discovered how to create and use it. For most of the year, these parts of the world are met with more than 12 hours of darkness, regular icy winds, and FREEZING COLD temperatures - a perfect place to bring this contrasting project! 🥶🔥☯️
This Fire Hula-Hoop Choreography, designed, recorded and edited by Catherine and Jesse Hart, was recorded in four locations:
1️⃣: The end of the drivable road, overlooking the Beagle Channel, in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.
2️⃣: Cascada Submarino, just north of Ushuaia, Argentina - aka “End Of The World” / “Fin del Mundo”.
3️⃣: Cascada Río Paine (along the driveway to hike Torres del Paine), Patagonia, Chile.
4️⃣: Cascada Chaiguén, Chiloé Island, Chile.
