My dog likes going out and watching them he goes nuts at the door i was worried about letting him out but did he sat down and watched them but i love fireworks so it could be like u said my liking of fireworks rubbing off on my boy

My dog were a nightmare with fireworks the French would start it off and my gollie would then start, I put i fireworks track on on KZfaq, I had the dogs sat with me, they were curious at first and reacted a bit, with reassuring them and the track on in the background they both stopped, calmed down n quickly.. I did this for a short time each night for a week and now they don't bounce around they don't yap, my Frenchy doesn't even lift her head anymore, I bit of reassurance and a bit of desensitisation they're fantastic now 👍

Great advice! ❤ Another important thing to mention, please make sure your dog is confined in your home …. dogs will escape, and run off. Many of times it’s a tragic outcome.

My dog is a mess as soon as he hears a fireworks, won’t go out the house, runs around but can’t settle anywhere, and even wets himself. I don’t make a big deal of them at all, I take him for long walks just before it gets dark, knowing as soon as it does that’s it, I’ve tried music, cuddle blankets, even herbal calming gels. He is my 3rd dog, all were nervous of fireworks, but this one is a next level. I’ve got a vets appointment tomorrow morning, because I’m scared he is going to give himself a heart attack, he gets that scared.

I put fireworks on Y/T for a few hours a day on low volume a month or so before fireworks season and gradually build the volume up , so my dog becomes accustomed to loud noise and flashes ,, why not do it all year round

I started play ball during fireworks..now they look forward to fireworks...let's play ball in yard
