As a bio mom, thank you for acknowledging the child’s feelings and birth parents. Not all birth parents are criminals, not all birth parents are “bad parents” sometimes bio moms, and/or dads just need help in an area or a few areas. And yes I’m sure the majority have done things that most would never imagine. Coming from personal experience, there are bio parents who are not the stereotypical individuals and truly are having a far worse night or week while fighting to prove to a system that views them as guilty until proven innocent. I’d much rather lose sleep due to a crying baby than lose sleep because I’m not hearing my baby at all. Again thank you for being so vulnerable and not sugar coating things. Awww this was heartbreaking for me. I lost my two children to foster care for two months back in 2012. I'm grateful that they were able to stay together and I'm so thankful I got them back in 2 months. It was terrible. You make a great video on this topic. Best of luck!!

My preschool teacher adopted a baby and taught us about foster parents and the fact some kids need parents. Ever since then I have refused the idea of creating more humans when so many young ones already need a family. I hope that my wealth later on in life will help me adopt and provide mental health care for kids in the system. Especially those in teen years that need a solid support system, therapy, and are less likely to be adopted. I hope I can provide that for even one person one day. In mental health treatment, I met many people who lives through the foster system and suffered lots of trauma. I hope I can make the biggest difference one day for them
