They all look so good, and if I had anything close to a high schooler my bank account would already be minus these books, but y’all, CONSUMER MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it wouldn’t insult them I would buy it and put it in the hands of several adults!!!

I am so getting the real life math & PE books TODAY while they’re on sale! Not Consumed has blessed our home so much and we really need the health / fitness education for our kids! I’m excited for the consumer math so my kids will be ready for real life when mommy and daddy aren’t there!

Consumer math is the one I am most excited about. I want to do it this coming year but I may have to wait until the next year because I've already spent my budget lol.

The Consumer Math and PE/nutrition course look amazing. Definitely keeping those ideas in my back pocket for when my kids get to HS.

The Consumer Math looks so great! I think i might do some of these with my younger kids as well because they're always asking about money, jobs, tithing, etc. Obviously they won't need all that's in the book, but i think the earlier we teach them the better prepared for life they'll be.

I'm looking forward to using the Consumer Math next school year with my then 10th grader. He's currently finishing a Cost of Living Project in his Economics class and when I told him about this book he said he would LOVE it! Im going to consider the writing book as well.

@heathert8895 , We use, Whatever Happened to Penny Candy w/the corresponding workbook, A Bluestocking Guide to Economics. My son is taking this in a group/co-op class. I'm not sure if the cost of living project was in these books(it might be, I'm just not certain), but it is part of his class and one of the best parts in my opinion!

I was very excited to see these. I am very interested in utilizing the physical education and the math units. Do you feel like the consumer math would be too advanced for 8th grade? Thank you for the video!

I am actually planning to use the consumer math with my 8th and 9th graders so I would say no I don’t think it would be to much

We are not using curriculum for health but functional health books!!! I’ve not thought of using consumer math!!!

We’re going to do the consumer math as a summer intensive at least that’s the plan where all we do school wise this summer is Bible, logic, and consumer math. I will let you know how it goes

Thank you for making this video the material looks very helpful and interesting most definitely worth checking out but is there answer keys that comes with these books? I have to have answer keys I just feel more confident in teaching curriculum if if it comes with answer key

There is a digital download that comes with the book that includes an answer key.

Hi 😊, we've never tried Not Consumed, but the Consumer Math looks really good. Would you say it is a one-year course? I wonder if it would pair well with the Dave Ramsey program for High School? My son is currently in 10th grade.

Yes it’s a one year course we’re going to try to do it as an intensive this summer and then take it into the school year this fall if we’re not done yet.

I keep getting advice to not have my senior take consumer math over, say, pre calculus or something. I think she would totally benefit from it. Any thoughts?

I think it very much depends on your child’s track and their goals. I will say I think that this course would be incredibly helpful for all kids as it prepares them for real life. That being said if they are wanting to go into something like engineering and need a higher math like pre calculus I would say maybe do consumer math in addition to the pre calculus. This is not heavy on math problems and is more about real world problems

It is geared toward highschool but I am considering using it for my 8th but will for sure use it for my 9th graders next year

Highschool is the official answer, Not Consumed Recommends 11th or 12th however I am doing it with my 9th graders this summer and they are handling it just fine. Now that being said It is very focused on the future so if you have a freshman or sophomore who is not ready for that strong of a focus on the future it may be better to wait.
