I uses my stopwatch on my phone just to get an idea of this 1/4 mile time. Looks like it did a 9.6 -9.7

He's the only one going down the ol 1320 at an exhibition event. Leaving on green (reaction time) becomes irrelevant as they are only interested in 60' and elapsed time. So while staging against the lasers is still important, leaving anytime, within reason, after the light goes green achieves the end state. End state being, staging then the launch event (60' performance), then e.t.s.

Great video! Thank God you didn't show us the ET! I mean, who watches a drag racing video and has any interest in that? Only thing that would've made it better would be some loud, obnoxious, electronic music to drown out the sound of the car. You'll do better next time, though.

No way this is gonna run a 8.9, a plaid runs 9.2 to 9.1, this has the same hp and almost just as heavy, make it make sense.

The only thing I can think of is the fact that its RWD which is apparently supposed to be more efficient at higher speeds, so the Tesla may be losing out at the top end according to that. But again, I really dont know, Im just trying to think of how it can be, we ll see the real results when people start posting their videos

@Eedo Amitay RWD has nothing to do it it, the tesla plaid doesn't lose on the top end like the old tesla does, dodge is pulling a fast one like they did with the first demon.

I think that with the standard demon and the plaid barely beating is a sign. Not even close in hp, and awd should bring an outcome like the previous. But with the rebuttal I doubt it. Imagine if the viper would have been tt or supercharged? That would have been the top dog. The demon would have been conquered by the serpent.
