This song is pure Band-Maid auditory wizardry! My favourite part is still the transition from that amazing solo to the immediate otherworldly vocals....a pure gem!

And also Akane's never ending drum fills during Mincho's first solo.😄

"Blooming" has one of Kanami's longer solos but some people are too preoccupied with solos being the be all & end all of a song. B-M are the be all & end all of every song they do :)

Absolutely, Gary! I love there are no egos present in Band-Maid, just a drive to give us the best songs they can do, every time! "That Kanami solo was too long." is something no one has ever said! Mincho always plays a solo that fits the song, not to show off, unlike a lot of other prominent guitar players!

@@waynebenedict5785 Well said, Wayne. That describes exactly what Kanami does. There comes a point where solos become boring when overplayed. Mincho's longest recorded solo is in "Unfair Game" & it's only just over half a minute long, but it's her craziest solo. I don't know if Rob will react to it cos reactors normally don't to audio without a vid but here's the link.🙂 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aq2KqruUpq6cqoE.html

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? The bigger, and more important, question is. If there's a band but no MAIDs around, is it really a band?

I use to do this long solo in a song I thought was pretty good cause my band mates kept saying: "Do that solo. Do that solo!" Turns out the solo was kind of crappy and they were actually asking me play it somewhere else... alone... solo! 😣

Though I love Kanami's solo in Blooming I really adore when it drops out into those soft vocal harmonies. Pure genius. Someone once commented that from solo to drop it was like being thrown off a cliff and landing in a pile of soft cushions. As for a recommendation how about 'Alone'. It was the first song allowed by their label to be released that they wrote themselves. An all time favourite of mine and a milestone for the ladies.

I agreed with you. This band is absolutely insane. If you watch more their videos (both MV and live), they seldom shows their faces except their lead singer, Saiki. They always shows the ladies with their instruments in close-up to show the world they are not a fluke! They are the world most talented musicians ever! Btw, if you want to see more their skills i suggests you to subscribe their Band Maid Prime. Its worth for money. I guarantee that you wont be disappointed.

"Blooming", for me, is quintessential Band-Maid. It has EVERYTHING that I love about this band. Instrumentally and vocally, it's all blazingly there as we can hear. What takes it up to a "Tour de Force" level are two things: One, the story behind the songs composition (Kanami handing a bare-bones demo to the rest of the band and telling them to write their own parts, then stitching it all together to form the whole...um.. WOW!) Two: Miku's lyrics. Haunting, melancholic, yearning but with a loving sense of hope and drive. Just a Masterpiece. Kills me everytime. 🕊

It's hard to believe they formed in 2013 and are about to celebrate 10 years of great music with the same 5 members. The chemistry of Band-Maid is just amazing! Good to see that you are back to reacting to them again. Who needs energy drinks when you have this song in your playlist!? 🤭 These 4 minutes are pure musical masterclass! Kanami with one of her undoubtedly best solos, which feels like she sends you over the edge of a very high cliff, Saiki and Miku who catch you on soft clouds just before you hit the ground and then take you along with them until the end, and my personal heroes of this song Akane and Misa, who provide an uncompromising framework not only for the song in general, but for every section from the first note on. Kanami's solo and the build-up afterwards wouldn't have nearly the same effect without them. With so many songs, it's easy to lose track sometimes, but I think for me, Blooming is the song for which Akane is most important for its atmosphere and effect. She really is a beast in the most positive sense. 🤘🏻🥁🔥 ___________________ 「 _"完璧なんてありえない" / Perfection? No one gets there._ 」 ---from *BAND-MAID* - 'Warning' 🕊

Another example of a band-maid song where the the MV is better than the live is 輪迴 (rinne). It's their most metal song in my opinion. I'll also send a link of a interview Rinne : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ebdpl8V2u82-k3U.html Interview : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZp2h9x_uNnboXU.html

Fair words that must be respected! I can only suggest you to have a closer look at their channel. Because if this band has one quality, it's versatility. They also have quite a few more melodic/slower songs, like 'Wonderland', 'Endless Story', their very special message during the pandemic to us fans 'About Us' or my personal #1 from them 'Daydreaming'. Maybe there is something for you to enjoy more. :) Kind greetings! _____________________ 「 _'Our rock never dies ever. Forever!'_ 」 --- from *BAND-MAID* 'Manners' 🕊

Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend Rob!! ...Would you like to reach 13,000 or more subscribers this week?...Well here you have your best gift of your life!!....Today it is very rare to find reactors like you who have never reacted to the best singer in the world, Dimash Kudaibergen, who has 7 octaves and 3 semitones vocal range (An alien) ... Maybe someone made you a request to react to Dimash, but you have not had time .... I am going to dare to recommend that you meet Dimash, because when you do it for the first time, your life as reactor will change forever ....For example, the number of views that you have today, it will increase by 300% in a matter of a few hours and you will get a lot of new subscribers.....But when you react to Dimash, don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did Dimash from the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one.... You can also start with the other famous live version of that song that Dimash did the following year 2018 when he was invited to the famous Slavic Bazzar festival in Belarus .... Both performances are from another planet...And I have to give you a warning: Never react to The World Best videos, because they suck!...Your life will never be the same again, after reacting for the first time to Dimash...And your first reaction to Dimash will be something very special, so I recommend that you do the best job of your life as a reactor, because that first video will be seen by thousands of people around the world, maybe millions...I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Dimash....Here you have the best high quality video of Dimash performing S.O.S. Live 2017.....kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mKqIZqmZ0t-ykZc.html
