Awesome L322😊

Quite a bit of misinformation here. The gearbox fitted to the BMW M62 TUB 4.4 litre V8 in the RR L322 is not the GM unit but the ZF 5 speed. Contrary to 'popular opinion', this is not an unreliable gearbox as it was fitted to several different makes of vehicle all around the world. The issue is poor maintenance: mostly by mechanics who should know better filling the box with the wrong transmission fluid and/or too much or too little oil. Either will cause serious problems as there is a strict protocol to be followed when servicing the ZF 5 Speed but so reliable is the gearbox that unless the internals have been damaged beyond repair, deep flushing and refilling with the correct amount of the correct ZF fluid will mostly correct the issues. FYI, the GM Turbo 400 transmission was fitted to the 3 litre BMW six cylinder diesel which was an option for the early L322s. BTW, after my exhaust modification, I regularly saw an average of 24MPG. Wrong, re gearbox, it’s the ZF-5HP24 gearbox made by ZF, the better of the two transmissions available in the first gen L322. The GM-5 came paired to the m57 3.0 d and could barely handle the power and torque that came from the 6cyl diesel. It wouldn’t hold 2 secs paired to an m62

Hi there wish you the best with new buy nice car you will enjoy every singel distenation just dony lesten to those who say bad things about rangerover most of them never drive one Im driving landcruiser100 series and range rover 2008 sc it just cant be better , i would say 2006 to 2009 the best rr cuz its more reliable but since you have the full maintenance history your is one of the best rr and belive it or not yours is much better then alot of l405 on the road so please keep it enjoy it and maintaine it cuz it worth evey cent you going to pay I know i wrote alot but what can i do we talking range rover 💐🤝
