Awesome stuff ! Critical illness cover is a must , my daughter has just claimed on hers and it has really made a big difference I don’t do paid work these days as I don’t have to ,I look after grandchildren elderly mum , wish I could have had the confidence to start my own business years ago as I am wrecked having done physical jobs for years 😢

Congratulations on your first pay. I can’t believe that your shop is so low even with the kids eating at childcare, my kids snacks and cereal alone is prob £50 a week 😂, I’ve tried swapping out the brands and keeping the original packaging but they can just tell. Your doing great and your budget is really working for you so well done. x

For just me n my husband we spend a good £100 a week and that’s not including work lunches which we extravagantly buy. (Too lazy to make sandwiches). X.

@@Moon52171 ah sorry 🙂 I think tbh, it’s cheaper because my kids are in childcare in the evenings on Weds-Fri so they have dinner there. I’ve found packed lunches are cheaper than paying for school dinners, I don’t buy much “ready made” and we don’t really eat any meat at home. We only drink water, no drinks. I’m not sure otherwise, people always say I don’t spend much but I think those might be the reasons why. I also have a separate household budget for toilet paper etc which I buy in bulk every few months so this is just food xx
