"Shotgun" was their biggest hit. It was written by Junior Walker & produced by Berry Gordy Jr. "Shotgun" was Walker's debut as a vocalist because the singer who was hired to record it didn't show up. So Walker stood in.

Really not sure the history of Jr. Walker, but I do remember this song playing on my radio back in the day. Just love the funky beat. ☮️☮️☮️
