I love that song too‼️ If I'm not mistaken, isn't it about his own drug abuse, shooting up? Not sure. But definitely a song about drugs and it's damage. What an era of great 🎵 music and so many of these Reactors weren't even born when these bands were in their heyday. Glad I was. 😊

Neil Young is still recording, performing, and relevant. DEEP catalog: he's tried about every music genre there is and is _amazing_ live. For soft, try "Heart of Gold" (1972) or "Harvest Moon" (1992); for hard and distorted, try "Powderfinger" (live, 1979) or "Rockin' In the Free World" (1989).

Yes, please listen to the studio recording "Old Man", James Taylor picks it up playing the banjo, background vocals Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor. Neil Young has so much more, solo and with bands, "Down By the River", "Cinnamon Girl", "Only Love Can Break Your Heart", "Southern Man", inspired Lynyrd Skynyd's "Sweet Home Alabama", so many more.

Neil plays beautiful acoustic ballads and he plays grungy electric guitar as well. Try the following acoustic songs, Heart Of Gold, Sugar Mountain and Harvest Moon., and there are many others .For an incredible live video check out Neil Young and The Band the song they do is called Helpless, it’s one of the most epic live songs ever . The amount of talent on that stage is incredible.

I saw them on their reunion tour in 1974 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It was a really great show ! Great memory ! Drove up from the Chicago suburbs with some friends for the summerfest but that day there wasn't any band performing at the summerfest that we wanted to see but luckily CSNY was playing at the Brewers baseball stadium and even though we didn't have tickets and were broke, the rock gods took pity on us and we were able to get in for free.

Oh Man, it would be SO GREAT if you would dive more deeply into the whole singer-songwriter genre from the 60s and 70s. There is so much amaaaaaaaayzing music from that era. Besides Neil Young, there's also (in no particular order): Neil Diamond, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, Paul Simon (and Simon & Garfunkel), Van Morrison, Cat Stevens (aka Yusuf), Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin, John Denver, Bill Withers, Bob Dylan, each of the Beatles on their own, Crosby Stills & Nash (and Young, for a short time), Harry Nilsson, Carly Simon, Leon Russell, Stephen Stills, Jim Croce, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Don McLean, Joan Baez, Seals & Crofts, Rickie Lee Jones, Graham Nash, Janis Ian, Kenny Loggins, Loggins & Messina, Jesse Colin Young, John Sebastian, Al Stewart, Barry Manilow, Billy Joel, Boz Scaggs, Christopher Cross, (early) Elton John, Johnny Rivers, Phoebe Snow, Roberta Flack, Stephen Bishop, Paul Davis, Todd Rundgren, Bobbie Gentry, Donovan, Roy Orbison, The Mamas & The Papas.
