Years ago, we were driving around the streets of Athens, Ohio, home of Ohio university where Steve was a student. This song came on the radio, and he cranked it up. We opened the windows--it was the dead of winter, too. When that drum solo kicked in, i pounded it on the dashboard and he thumped it on the steering wheel. I love Phil, I am 28 years old and I am proud to have known his music (and all rock) on my own (my family was never interested in music so if I depended on them to know it, I was dead what a time haha)

You make us oldies feel like we are the ones hearing our favorites for the first time, through young ears. I don't know what your music education background is, if you have taken any formal instruction, or taught yourselves to play and more importantly to really listen, but I hope that you do pursue study in music theory and try playing a few of the instruments you are hearing in the videos. You can have a career in production, and maybe set some new trends, bringing back live instruments in recording sessions. What's old is new again.
