There is absolutely..NO artist in the history of music that worked harder and perfected the whole aura of his sound,and personality,with a fine tooth comb like Prince!He did more than James Brown,Michel Jackson,Madonna,Janet,Beyonce..playing instruments,writing ,composing, arranging,singing,dancing,acting, producing,creating movies from scratch;developing artists,...he is arguably the hardest working artist in history...who worked harder!

It's always so cool to see the younger generation discover Prince for the first time. It takes me back to my fist time in the early 80s. It makes me appreciate (even more) how fortunate I and my generation was to have bore witness to his art in real time. He is truly a gift that keeps on giving!

I love watching the younger generation reacting to Prince. This is the shortened version of Do Me Baby. I've been to several arena concerts and 2 small venue shows, the rabbit hole is deep.....very deep! There are nearly 500 songs in my collection and I don't think that scratches the surface. The thing to keep in mind is that he’s also playing each & every instrument on that track as well. Prince was one of a kind. The next artist close to him probably hasn’t even been CONCEIVED yet.

Cream, Darling Nicki, When Doves Cry and Purple Rain. More variety of other artists that were in the same time and similar feel with sex appeal. Billy Idol with a Rebel Yell, INXS need you tonight and George Michael Father figure. If you are talking just voices, Robert Palmer Addicted to love and Peter Gabriel's Sledge Hammer are great.

He's the reason there are warning labels on albums. Seriously.... Tipper Gore (VP of US Al Gore's wife) heard Darling Nikki from the Purple Rain album and lost her sh*t. After that they were putting warning labels on records with explicit lyrics. 😅

U gotta hear the full album version, has a longer instrumental at the end, w prince talking through it. If u watch prince live in Houston 1981 on you tube,about the 4th song in is "head" a racy clutch my pearls performance, then "dirty mind" which involves a bed and stripper pole, from there "do me baby" which has prince stripping down to his underwear. Video on the show is low quality but audio is decent. Prince slow songs u might dig: "When we are dancing close and slow" has prince playing every instrument, singing every part "Splash" "When I lay my hands on u" from Montreux 2009 "When 2 are in n love" 1987/1988 "Baby you're a trip" bout 1982/83 U gotta watch Purple Rain move, that won an Oscar for best musical score. Watching the movie puts the album in better context. Cool reaction
