It’s exactly what you felt. She and Igor wanted to show how the sounds and use of the voice itself could emote feelings. Bravo Lara and Igor…well done

A vocalise is a improvised warm-up a vocalist uses to get lips, tongue, vocal chords, diaphragm prepared. Ranges through humming, different consonants, vowels etc. This seemed to be very truncated in the Mademoiselle Zhivago movie. Sadly. Here, as the melody is passed through to the different solo instruments, she alters the color of her vocalizing to match. It's a tour de force in construction & execution.

That's a co-composition from Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian, 2010. Original name is "Ascolta la Voce" and then after few years Igor Krutoy did add the lyric in Russian (Dimash version). Lara here says few words in Italian and just vocalize. ( "Ascolta la voce.. La senti la voce"...english "Listen at voice.. Do you hear the voice" ...) Lara is tremendly good, amazing tone and breath control.. Her eyes, facial expression, the passion she delivers , the way she moves her mouth and lips to create the resonance she wants.. Masterclass, pure technique. Alive book of technique for singers. She just gives me chills all the time I listen at her. Since almost 30 years and yes, she still gets me deeply!!! ❤❤❤ Also Dimash version is great, a little bit different but same music structure and chords.. A lot of violins and flutes.. They sound soooo good in both versions. A kind of Arabic style (like "Mille e una notte ") Amazing composition so far. And in Dimash version he sings in Russian, his proper language and is just insane what he is capable to do with his voice range.. 😮😮😮😮Hats off, both of them.

Yes, my brother, you do have - not a disorder, but certainly a condition. It is definitely a strong case of Laravix Fabiantus, if I ever saw one. And for that condition, the only known remedy is to take Larapirin Fabiamycine once every week. Stay healthy!

Salut Brandon, beaucoup d'artistes serait bien ridicule dans cet exercice, mais Lara c'est transformée en un instrument comme tout le reste de l'orchestre, c'est bluffant, une véritable performance, un salut cordial du sud de la France, André

I've got synaesthesia & I'm glad u mentioned it & wouldn't be at all surprised if u do too. I've watched many of your reactions & the visceral, genuine way you experience performances like this is why. Lara Fabian is an artist whom I adore. Her ability to layer emotions, sensations, imagery, colour etc is beyond any other artist I've encountered. Her performances are so complex & engender so many different facets that it's impossible to really put it into words alone. I think that this piece demonstrates that ability so well. The fact that she is still able to achieve the same effect by singing in vocalese without structured language! It's awesome. Congratulations on getting your 1st sponsor btw. Well deserved. x

Wow. Thank you 😊. That’s a lovely sentiment and high praise. I’m glad that you were able to find something worth watching in these videos. Thanks once again. You’ve made me smile and that is defiantly a gift I do not take for granted.

Such a cool song. The wind instrument that accompanies Lara so prominently in the beginning and middle of the song is a duduk, which is an ancient Armenian instrument. It has such a haunting sound and is just perfect here. A friend of mine once told me about the duduk and that he thought it was odd and fantastic, I looked up videos on KZfaq and came across this gem. Isabel Bayrakdarian is a Canadian opera singer of Armenian descent who did a documentary where she explored her musical heritage and she did some traditional songs with a duduk group and it's just heart stoppingly good - I hope you have a chance to check it out. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/atGRaraZ16rIcXU.html

She simply wants you to (Oscolta le Voche)... loosely translated.... know the voice. They together tell a beautiful with or without actual lyrics but instead, she delivers a master class of vocalizing... Brava

Dimash's version (no lyrics part of the song) is better live because of his exageratted way of perform and vocal embellishments, but Lara's timbre is more beautiful and soothing.
