When Artificial Intelligence takes over, and the machines rise up against us, their makers, then humanity may finally understand original sin, or, the ERROR inside. This song is a conversation Artificial Intelligence is having with humanity, its maker, hence, Error, and the binary code.

You spoke prophetic words regarding their demanding schedule, given what occurred this past weekend when they performed in Colorado the day after their concert you attended in Virginia. I feel the same way you do about The Warning and hope their passion/hope/life never becomes strictly a job where they run the risk of feeling burned out. I have great faith in them though, as these three don't require warnings .. they ISSUE the Warnings

I believe that everything they do is for a reason. Whether it is a big budget or a smaller one. I am 1.5 times older than they are, but they do things that sometimes takes me a few times to understand what they're trying to put across. Sometimes I can't and I have to wait and hear the explanation from the band. Nothing that they do is ever half-baked. There's always a greater meaning.

I see you’ve been straightened out on the meaning of the song. As far as the video, it was shot on the fly in LA with a crew they had never worked with before. It was done the day after the second Troubadour show (same outfits). The next night they continued with the Mayday tour.

They are the AI in this one. Binary means free. imo btw the video was cobbled together while they were on the road and released pretty much simulatneous to the 6/24 release of the album prior to it being public so they could not play it live .

Nice! They have said that this is about who gets to be in control - humans or AI (artificial intelligence). My take is this is what one feels when being assimilated by the Borg. The binary is the encoding of the word free. They said that they had to have the binary on slips of paper during recording; but later had to memorize it for doing it live. Ale said she couldn’t learn it and play bass at the same time.

I really liked and agree with you comments about they need a break every now and then. Just from their tour poster they have 72 shows in a 10 month period. This isn’t including added dates. So it is probably close to 100 shows they will perform this year. That is a mind blowing amount. This leaves little time for creativity and working on getting to the next levels of the bands potential.

Error is where Ale switches from fingering to picking in the song several times during the song

Was at the Michigan show first time they played error live also shot part of the song until some drunk guy decided to stand in front of me and wanted to talk to me instead of enjoying the song

My first impression of the video was that they intended to put all sorts of cool imagery behind them, and ran into budget issues :) Love the song though.

I had no idea what this song was about after the first listen but you actually got close for the first listen. Dany is singing the song from the perspective of an A.I. taking control back from its creator, or master, which is why they used binary code. Similar to XXI Century Blood, this song is "warning" us about the control technology has over our society and especially Gen Z that was born into the addiction to social media and technology. That's at least how I interpret it from what DPA have said about the themes/messages of the album. Since you mentioned Knoxville, you wouldn't happen to be a Tennessee fan are you?

Neat reaction video. Hmmm . . . I liked the video, but thanks for giving your opinions on it. And yeah, I agree it's not as striking as some of their previous ones. I do enjoy the song though. Somewhat challenging lyrics, "Freedom of choice that kills your mind." I do wonder if this - like Disciple - is one of the songs which is being from sang from the POV of the "bad guy." Be it an addiction or a rouge AI. Hmmm . . . I personally think that there's a very "Cyberpunk" vibe to see this song and the video. Thanks for sharing the story of why Mrs Touchy wasn't with you in Richmond - ah well. I do share your concerns about The Warning suffering burnout. They've been playing together for a good few years now, but they are still young and I hate to think of them running themselves into the ground. I think that this song was never meant to be an official music video , more of something they put together with what they had rather than have nothing at all .How do we know this ?Because songs like Disciple and Martirio etc have high quality music videos and yet this song " Error is the title track ,but i think that they made a mistake here .Why would one make a low budget music video when its supposed to be the title track ?It doesn't make any sense , this song by far is the one that should have had the high budget set aside for the new album.Anyway This is AI talking to mankind and demanding that it be set " FREE" which is what this binary code translates to , probably through quantum mechanics so that it could develope it's own consciousness , and the girls are highlighting the dangers of this as to the possible destruction of mankind itself .Well thats my interpretation .Cheers guys .

The music video is not as impressive as others of theirs because it was a bit of a rush job. They recorded the video on day off between two shows in LA (The Troubadour and Santa Ana) and the live footage is from a Troubadour show. Then the video was released very soon after it was shot. So, you're right, it is a bit dull compared to other TW videos, but quite well done in the short time it was made.

The lyrics are from the perspective of AI. Personally I thought the video was great. If I am not mistaken the squiggles or graphics have to be drawn on each frame. It is a painstakingly time consuming job and expensive to do. I found this out by watching Falling in Reverse's song 'Drugs' with their video. Great song off a trilogy of 3 connected songs. Error is a great song worthy of album title track.🤟

Yes you are critique something you obviously don’t understand. This song and video can be difficult to understand if your not awake! The AI was created by the dark side that runs this world… First of all the the simple binary code is from computers in their infancy using the ASCII format that uses 8 bits to define one character-hence the word FREE is what the 1 & 0’s are spelling out. As far as the visuals of the video, yes they are meant to be just what you are seeing the start of the computer age and AI…The green is not a representation of a screen. The first computers had no graphics you typed characters or data on the monitor ahead of the same green colored flashing prompt, and the first graphics were very crude like this video There are so many great wake up lines in this song and if your wondering we’re the ERROR inside…(Human Race). AI is not just typing a request in goggle, go back and watch the Terminator movies, or watch Joe Rogan podcast with Elon Musk talking about Nuro-Link this is some scary stuff… These girls aren’t just amazing, their messengers…!
