Yeah. I think they all landed miraculously and then stayed until they all hit each other in the head to the point of every single one has brain trauma. The main people are just running around while most people just work the camp.

Oh my God. I watched this show when it originally aired back in the day, week to week, and that was hard enough. But rewatching it with you guys is just as special, just as excruciating. Good stuff!

Nah. Locke is my 2nd favorite character in the entire show and was my favorite character at this point in the series. But he was WAY out of line in this episode. He, a stranger, is hanging out with his child while he's looking for them. Then he finds Walt with a giant knife in his hand. Then Locke literally tells Michael that "he hasn't spent enough time with his son to see how special his son is" who the fuck is he to make that assertion as if he knows either one of them. Then he decides that Walt should be able to "live up to his potential" on the island. No, no, no. Not just jealousy. Locke screwed up at the beginning of this episode.

Couple things. 1 I have stated many times (and will continue to state) you will hate sawyer much more before he makes a turn. 2 “hearts and minds” is one of the best episodes IMO and helped create an entire genre on the hub. 3 Micheal is one of my least liked character while Walt is one of the best. So their episodes are always a little strange for me.

Alright, update here…. I was off work today and decided the best way to pass time while tinkering with some electrical wiring was to put on LOST in the background. I’m currently ten episodes ahead of y’all now and I can almost guarantee tears will be shed later on in the season. I’m a big ole dude and I’ve already teared up a couple times. Man, this show is so good. Even though I know what happens in the show, I am totally reinvested in almost every character.

I don't think there's a character in the whole series that I despise as much as Walt's mother. So casually ruthless and self-serving. An opportunistic sanctimonious navel gazer who dies without ever getting called out on it. Everything that _she_ wanted just so happened to be what was "best for Walt" (or at least conveniently filed under that heading in her mind), including being raised by a father that only politely tolerated him... right up until the moment she dropped dead.

Michael's line every episode for 5 mins "Walt!". "Walt!" . "Walt"- After seeing more of the show it is hard for me to really get teared up here. But for parents I am sure it hits different.

Shannon/Boone might seem weird to some people, but when you grow up reading Flowers in the Attic because it's in the school library, it doesn't even come close. V.C. Andrews is like been there, done that, but much worse.

I can totally understand why she hates Sawyer based on what happened during the torture scene. Like if Sawyer were a real person I would also hate him. But it's hard to reconcile that knowing everything I know about Sawyer now.

Personally, I don't understand how anyone can hate someone for a torture scene when he's the one being tortured. Sure he could have ended it all by telling them he didn't have the inhalers, but did no one even think of just asking nicely, and maybe even offering a trade for it?

Please check out The Ghost And The Darkness sometime this year and The Relic, a sci-fi Horror film about a Chicago cop and biologist try to stop a giant Mutant creature going on a killing spree in the Natural History Museum.

They were all annoying in many ways. I never understood the fans' need to focus on Michael for being annoying. However, Locke had no business trying to teach Walt how to use a sharp and dangerous knife WITHOUT Michael's permission.
