My first week living alone! I just moved to a brand new city for university, and unfortunately, my boyfriend and I have started to do a long-distance relationship after living together for 2 years. I wanted to document the process of setting into my new apartment, and all the crazy emotions that went along with it. But I was so happy because I got to see my grandparents for the first time in almost a year!! We spent the day visiting cute english villages, going out to pubs, and they got to meet my chameleon carl for the first time! (not waffles because my grandma's scared of snakes haha)
Speaking about snakes, my last vlog some of you guys were asking me to show how I feed him, so I left that in this video as well.. sorry to everyone who doesn't wanna see that stuff hahah

Short girl hack: get yourself a little stool for the kitchen. Something you can store away easily and that its not bulky. You can get ur items without possibly breaking an ankle or ur neck. Girl its a life saver, literally 😅. Im 5’3.5” lol so I know the struggle is real 😩

Girl it was 5 years since I started college too! Those 5 years I got married, settled down’ and became a mom.long story short my exhusband was abusive and I left everything I had and drove 3.5 days to start over and live with my mom until I saved enough money for my own place. I was struggling because I felt so mfing lonely! and was sooo scared to start college but I knew I needed to. I felt too ‘old’ and Now that im a single mom I had to at least work towards something for my son if not myself! anyways I’m more than full time and have a 4.0 still so I’m doing something right! I think I have 3 meltdowns a week now though. But You got this girl! I love your vlogs so much❤️❤️❤️ Also you gotta watch the kdrama coffee prince. That was my first and I loved it! Or boys over flowers!!

Don`t feel bad about only 5 years, I have been going to college since 2010! Had to take a year off for one of my children and mostly only doing one to two classes at a time due to working tons of hours every week up until this semester. I have an associates but still working towards that bachelors. I should have it by Spring of 2022, then I will probably go for my masters. Learning is a lifelong journey! Thats the only way to see it anyways, otherwise I would cry for all these years I have spent struggling with only a 2 year degree to show for it. It is hard, everyone I started with has either quit or graduated. Now, I can look around the class and see I am one of the oldest (if not the oldest). Everyone else is only around 18 or in their 20`s. It can be discouraging but I am going to keep on chugging.

I've never lived completely alone, but my ex-husband was an isolationist who couldn't be bothered to spend any time with me, so I can still relate to your feelings. You did the right thing by visiting your grandparents; it's great to have a cheerful, goofball grandpa, lol. I had a mated pair of red rat snakes 30 years ago; they ate live mice. Ugh. That got old very quick. At one point I ended up with a pet mouse named Randy.🤣 I finally sold the pair to a pet store. I had too much empathy for the mice.

When I started school I moved to a new city, lived by myself for the first time, and my boyfriend lived hours away also. I learned a lot about myself during that time and now years later we live together in that same city with a bunch of pets and degrees completed. It will be worth it. You got this girl! 💚🐍🦎💚

My sister who I was really close with moved out a few weeks ago so I’ve been feeling super down and lonely so I know exactly how you’re feeling. so glad you uploaded this it makes me feel less alone🥺 would love you to do a video on tips how to cope with life changes and living alone as I personally am really struggling with it😣it’s the little things like having no one to watch tv/movies with or eating dinner with. Just paused the video after seeing you cry- girl I know there are times we feel sad and empty but all these negative emotions will pass. You are so amazing that you got yourself a nice flat, where Carl and Waffles are happy, your boyfriend loves you and you will see each other in no time, classes will start, projects will start and you will be so so happy to be going into the direction of your dreams and this university will help you with that! All your subscribers/viewers appreciate your hard work, your humour, all the emotions that you share, even though we are all strangers to each other, you create a safe space for everyone to enjoy your videos. Please remember that it's okay to have breakdowns and feel REALLY sad once in a while. We can't expect to feel fine all the time especially when it's been consistent for a long time. Now and again you will have your down days and it will feel incredibly intense. A lot of stress, pressure, worry, anxiety and sadness that has been accumulated or bottled up over a period of time is something your body is finally releasing after having so much change in your life. Please take care of yourself and don't blame yourself for being human. Sending so much love your way Margot! 💜

Was so excited to see how you have been coming along in your new crib! I am sorry that you felt sad, but everything has its ups and downs-wish I could have been there to cheer you up. Don't worry about being 25 and just now going back to university. I am 40 years older and live alone and STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Stay close to your grandparents and they will cheer you up. I loved that tour of the city and beautiful scenery. You are my favorite KZfaq channel! Can't wait to hear how your classes are. as someone who's just completed 5 years of university and is now about to go onto her 6th next year, I've loved watching these vlogs! It reminds me of when I studied abroad in Cambridge for a bit. You are not alone, the same thing happened to me, they were weeks of sadness, for not seeing my family, being alone all the time, stress from work, and the pandemic. Everything affects, but it will pass, the important thing is to feel good and try to move forward and see all the blessings that you have in your life.

I lived alone for the first time by myself when I was only 18 years old. I got myself a little apartment an hour away from my home town a month after I graduated. It was extremely hard for me to adjust without pets or family around. It does get easier as time goes on! Keep getting outside and explore a lot. The less time you spend at home, the less time you have to overthink things. Wishing you the best on your new adventure ❤️

Megan that's the best choice for a kdrama girl. Honestly its so amazing to see how far you've come at first i would just watch you for weight loss tips but i genuinely became a fan of your strength and motivation to work hard and that has really pushed me too. Hey girl, thanks for keeping it real and sharing! One thing I've learned about myself is I always get a bit depressed when there is a big change in my life. Even when it's for the better. It will pass. 💕 University is tough and so it long distance but you're making the right choices and your life will be better later because of that. Also totally feel your pain about the winged eyeliner. I always just leave them a little uneven.
